Abstract
The e-Learning business has passed developing level to maturity level in widely spreaded IT-oriented education system. A well-developed e-Learning system has provided study without limited time and place. The e-Learning market has enjoyed the explosive growth of the market because of many users having intention to increase their value by education.
The required factors for improving the satisfaction level of online users are studied in the aspect of IT. In this research, the factors are objectively examined by research model and hypothesis to check the relationship between users' satisfaction and the expected utility.
In this research we refined, the expected utility is the critical factor of influencing users' satisfaction level. With the reason, the purpose of this research can be conceptualized as below.
First; To verify the influence of expected utility on user satisfaction level.
Second; To confirm the preceded parameters for influencing the user satisfaction level.
Third; The comprehensive conceptual framework of users' satisfaction level has developed with the result of critical factors and respective preceded factors.
To acquire the purpose of this research, theoretical background is organized by literature survey and the hypothesis to solve the research theme is prepared. Moreover, the questionnaire method is selected for empirical analysis.
The research targets are those users, who are living in Jeju island as well over high school age, men or women, and visiting e-learning for more than once a week.
750 questionnaires are distributed and 706 of them are collected back. 475 questionnaires are answered sincerely and 307 questionnaires are finally selected for this research. The others are extracted caused by the questionnaires answered on the basis of using OCU(Open Cyber University) and obtained units on university.
The SPSS 12.0 and LISREL 8.80 are used for statistical analysis. The hypothesis testing is performed after achieving the reliability and feasibility with measurement feasibility process. The descriptiveness, the factor analysis, reliability analysis and covariance analysis are used for statistical analysis.
The results of this research are described as.
1. The participating ability, information quality, system quality, and service quality are functioned as antecedents factor of expected utility.
2. The expected utility of advantages of e-Learning web site is affecting on users' satisfaction level.
3. The expected utility which defines the recognized utility is used as a new critical parameter for users' satisfaction level. The simple and clear conceptual model for users' satisfaction level has made. The fact, that expected utility is affecting meaningfully as the critical factor for user satisfaction level has been identified.
4. The concept of the recognized utility is used in the explaining model of users' satisfaction level to verify the gap between information system and users' satisfaction level.
