ICT 학습자료를 활용한 음악 감상지도 연구

Abstract

21세기는 정보화 시대로 과거와 비교해 볼 때 엄청난 변화를 가져 왔다. 그 중 컴퓨터 매개 통신의 발달로 인한 정보화의 변화와 속도를 급속도로 빨라졌다. 컴퓨터가 발달함에 따라 교육 분야에서도 정보통신기술(ICT)를 활용한 교육의 필요성이 강조되고 있는 있으며 전통적인 교수-학습 방법에서 탈피하여 각종 멀티미디어 시스템과 인터넷을 활용하여 사회 변화에 적절한 교육환경을 제공할 때이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 지식정보화 사회에 맞는 정보통신기술(ICT)을 실제 수업에 보다 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 중학교 1학년을 중심으로 음악 감상지도 방안에 대하여 연구해 봄으로써 ICT를 활용한 교수-학습 모형을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 음악 감상의 중요성을 재인식하고 ICT의 개념과 구성, ICT 활용 교육의 필요성, ICT를 활용한 음악 교육에 대해 알아보았으며 현장 학습에서 유용하게 적용될 수 있도록 ICT를 활용한 감상 교수․학습 지도안을 제시하였다. ICT 활용 매체 중 Power Point를 기본적으로 사용하여 학습자들이 습득하여야 할 음악적 개념과 요소 내용들을 보다 쉽게 안내하였다. 그리고 감상학습의 효과를 중대시키기 위해 플래시 프로그램을 이용하여 음악과 함께 음성 해설 또는 텍스트 설명이 주어지게 됨으로 학습자 스스로 자기주도 학습을 할 수 있게 할 수 있으며 Sibelius 프로그램을 이용하여 주제를 직접 사보해보고 입력한 음을 즉시 들어보며 음색을 자유롭게 변화시켜 보는 등 학습자 주도적인 학습 환경을 만들어 갈 수 있다. 또한 DVD를 적절하게 활용하였으며, 베토벤의 교향곡 제9번 "합창"과 브리튼의 "청소년을 위한 관현악 입문" 감상곡을 교수-학습 모형을 개발하고 그에 따른 교수 학습 지도안을 예시하였다. 이처럼 ICT 자료를 음악 수업에 적절히 활용할 때 학습자들에게 흥미 있고 보다 적극적인 감상 활동을 만들어 주어 음악적 능력을 효과적으로 신장시킬 수 있다고 본다. 하지만 ICT 활용 교육이 음악수업의 질을 향상시키고 사회가 요구하는 인재를 육성하는 방법의 전부라고는 말할 수 없다. 단지, 21세기는 정보화 사회이며, 각 활동 영역에 적합한 ICT 활용 유형과 ICT 자료가 사용될 때 음악학습의 효율성을 높일 수 있으므로, ICT는 음악교육의 참된 목적을 실현시켜주는 도구로 계속적으로 발전되고 활용되어야 할 것이며, 각각의 영역에 맞는 교재와 교구 개발이 좀 더 활발히 진행되어야 할 것이며 학생 중심의 주도적 학습 능력을 향상시키기 위해 교사의 ICT 활용 능력과 수업 자료 개발이 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Compared to the past, the 21st century has brought considerable changes. Among them, the change to information-oriented society and its rate has gone up rapidly due to the development of computer-mediated communication. As comeputers have been developing, the need of education utilizing Information & Communication Technology (ICT) is emphasized and it is time to break conventional teaching methods and offer educational environment, which is proper to social changes by using various multimedia systems and the internet. Therefore, this study aims at suggesting a teaching model utilizing ICT by studying a plan for music appreciation guide to put easily ICT, which is appropriate for knowledge․information society, to practical use in a class focusing on the first year middle school. For this, this study takes another look at the importance of music appreciation and looks into the concept and composition of ICT, the necessity of education utilizing ICT, and music education with ICT. Also, it suggests a plan of teaching guide utilizing ICT to be applied usefully in the field. It is operated as follows. Firstly, instructors use Power Point basically among ICT utilizing media so musical concepts and factors, which learners have to acquire, are introduced more easily. Secondly, students can do oneself leading role study by using flash programs with music given vocal or text explanations to increase the effectiveness of appreciation learning. Thirdly, students can change their academic environment by making a copy of musical topic through Sibelius program and varying tones freely while immediately listening to the sounds they enter. In addition, instructors make good use of DVD and develop a teaching model of Beethoven's "the Choral Symphony" and Brittem's "The Young Person's Guide to the Ochestra" and then exemplify the plan of teaching guidance. Like this, it is expected for learners to feel interested and to appreciate music more actively so that they can develop their musical ability effectively when a instructor uses ICT materials properly in a music class. However, it is difficult to say that education with ICT is the only way of educating the talented, which a society requires, and improving the quality of a music class. The 21th century is only a information-oriented society so it is possible to raise the efficiency of musical learing when suitable ICT types for each domain are used. Thus, ICT should be made good use of and developed as a means to realize the true purpose of music education. Furthermore, teaching materials and tools appropriate to each field should be developed more actively and development in instructors' ability to use ICT and teaching materials be done continuously to let students have power of leading their class.
