고등학교 수학과 수행평가의 인식 및 수행평가 도구 모색

Abstract

본 연구는 선행 연구의 대부분이 수행평가 초창기에 이루어졌고 수행평가의 방향이나 문제점, 수행평가의 실태 등을 분석하는 수준에 머물렀다. 이러한 문제점에 근거하여 본 연구자는 학교에서 근무하는 동안 학생들에게 진정으로 필요한 수행평가는 어떤 것이고 교사들이 수행평가를 제대로 할 수 있는 여건을 만들기 위해서는 무엇이 필요한지 연구할 필요가 있다고 여기게 되었다. 교사들이 수행평가를 바라보는 입장에 대해 조사하고 또한 각급 학교 실정에 맞는 수행평가의 유형이 어떤 것인지 그러한 수행평가를 시행하기 위한 행정적ㆍ제도적 장치가 마련되어 있는지 알아볼 필요가 있고 앞으로의 수행평가의 방향을 모색해보고자 본 연구를 하게 되었다. 교사들을 상대로 한 설문지 조사와 그것을 토대로 수행평가의 대안을 몇 가지 제시해 보았다. 이번 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

첫째, 수학과의 수행평가의 내실화를 위해 여러 가지 제도적 장치가 마련되어야 한다. 둘째, 다양한 학교의 수행평가를 위한 다양한 평가도구와 자료가 개발되어야 한다. 셋째, 일반계 학교에서는 서술형 시험을 위주로 한 수행평가를 전문계 학교에서는 수업일지를 활용하여 수업에 관심을 갖는 계기를 마련하고 수업에 충실한 것을 반영하는 포트폴리오 형태의 수행평가를 중심으로 평가하는 것을 제시할 수 있다.

Most of the previous studies on performance assessment were evaluated in the early days of the test. These studies only considered the analysis of the directions and problems concerned with performance assessment. Based on these issues, the study for performance assessment should be expanded so as to successfully create the conditions for teachers and the students to assess performance test properly. This study is to investigate the stance of teachers, to find out proper performance assessment procedure for each type of school, to see if administrative and legal devices are available and to explore the future direction of performance assessment.

A questionnaire for teachers were investigated and several alternatives were presented. Conclusions are as follows:

Firstly, several institutional mechanisms should be established to achieve substantiality of the performance assessment in mathematics.

Secondly, various assessment tools and materials should be developed for various schools.

Finally, descriptive performance assessment test should be provided for general schools and a form of portfolio performance evaluation, which reflects fidelity to the class using mathematics journal writing should be provided for vocational schools.
