The relationship among casino dealer's perception, job satisfaction and organizational commitment toward transformational leadership and empowerment
Abstract
To achieve the object of organization in casino industry, dealer's personal ability as a human resources have to expand.
The study of transformational leadership and empowerment is essentially crucial for giving an implications to lead the organization efficiently.
The aim of this study investigate the need of efficient leadership and empowerment through the empirical analysis of relationship among dealer's perception, job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
To accomplish the purpose, documentary study and empirical study are conducted. At the documentary study, a discussion of the casino dealer's concept and a special feature, transformational leadership, empowerment, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are systematized.
According to the documentary results, transformational leadership give a plan to employees for future and transformational leader help to set the object encouraging their confidence.
The empowerment entrusts the authority from the middle managers to low level employees such as dealers and make a higher performance to all organization.
Survey was carried out to employees at 5 casino in Jeju Island.
SPSS 12.O statistical package was utilized for analysis. Frequency analysis, ANOVA, factor analysis and reliability analysis were used for further analysis.
Followings are the outcomes from the analysis.
In the documentary research, the transformational leadership and empowerment have more positive influences on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of workers.
According to the result of research, the relationship between transformational leadership and empowerment is significant. As the level of transformational leadership, empowerment has also the positive impact to the job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
The relationship among empowerment, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and transformational leadership contains employees' job perception.
Leadership is a key factor for casino dealer's job satisfaction. It is possible to enlarge employee's ability and motivation for work. Also, the authority can be forwarded to them. Through these, responsibility for their work is increased.
The enlargement of empowerment strongly affects to employee's organizational commitment. This is an important factor in the casino industry due to include behavior factor. It would be a solution to reduce turnover rate and increase the performance and organizational commitment.
For job satisfaction consists of several elements and connects with colleagues, salary and promotion, employee's need have to grasp the point.
