초등학교 영어교과서의 삽화 오류에 관한 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the illustration of English textbooks. I which is used in the 7th curriculum, to detect the errors, and to make those better. As a result, textbook illustration can make inspire study desire and improve the study efficiency. The first chapter explains the importance of this study and the definition of illustration. The second chapter explains the property, and prerequisite of illustration and surveys the theoretical background about educational function of textbook illustration. The third chapter analyses the errors in six kinds of English textbooks, according to 4 condition such as the concordance with study content, the concordance with English culture, the function of information delivery, and the contribution to emotional development and humanism education. This study shows the important of illustration with textbook to Japanese teacher, and learners can study as using textbooks and illustrations which improved fluent visual efficiency. The writer can feel importance of illustration through this study, and also can know that the textbook's writer, editor, illustrator, and Japanese teacher require many accompaniments their responsibility and role.
