피아노 초견 능력 향상을 위한 지도 방법 및 성취도 연구

Abstract

피아노 교육에서의 초견 능력은 악보를 읽는 기술적 능력의 향상뿐만 아니라 음악 작품에 대한 이해를 통해 음악 문헌에의 접근을 제공해주는 하나의 기술이다. 초견 능력은 타고난 경우도 있지만 초견 능력이 발달되지 않은 학습자는 타고난 능력의 부족보다는 체계적인 악보 읽기 훈련과 경험의 부족에서 기인하는 경우가 많다. 즉, 선천적인 소질보다는 후천적인 연습에 의해 발달시킬 수 있는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 초견 교육의 필요성을 인식하고 초견 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 효율적인 지도 방법을 통하여 초견 교육이 초견 능력 향상에 효과를 주고 있음을 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 피아노 교육에 있어서 초견 지도 방법에 대하여 선행 연구되어진 내용을 토대로 초견 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 지도 방법을 제시하였다. 즉, 건반에 대한 손의 감각을 기르고, 악보를 바라보는 눈은 모양읽기, 앞서서 읽기, 패턴 읽기를 통해 음 하나하나를 읽어가는 것이 아닌 시각적 이미지와 음악적 단위를 형성하여 읽을 수 있는 방법을 모색하였다. 또한 음악적 기억을 바탕으로 예측능력을 키우기 위한 방법과 음감 기르기 및 음악적 경험을 쌓음으로써 초견 연주에 도움을 줄 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 지도 방법이 초견 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는데 얼마나 효과적인지를 알아보기 위하여 초견 교육을 받은 실험집단과 초견 교육을 받지 않은 통제집단으로 나누어 실험을 실시하였다. 두 집단은 동일한 곡으로 사전 평가를 실시하였고, 실험집단은 본 연구자가 직접 제작한 수업지도안을 가지고 10회의 수업을 받았다. 이후 사후 평가에서 역시 동일한 곡으로 실험집단과 통제집단의 초견 연주 평가를 하였고 이 결과는 통계 프로그램 SPSS 12.0을 통하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 초견 교육이 초견 능력 성취도에 영향을 주었음을 확인하였고, 효율적인 초견 지도 방법이 후천적으로 초견 능력을 향상시킬 수 있음을 입증하였다. 그러므로 향후 피아노 교육에 있어서 초견 교육의 체계적이고 효율적인 지도 방안이 모색되어야 하며 초견 교육이 폭 넓고 다양한 음악적 경험을 갖게 하는데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 연주 영역을 넓힐 수 있는 원동력이 될 것이라고 기대한다.

Sight-Reading ability in piano education is one technique to improve technical ability to read sheet music and offer approach to music literature through understanding for music work. As for Sight-Reading ability, there is innate case. But, as for the learner that Sight-Reading ability fail to develop, there are many cases to be caused by the lack of training and experience of systematic reading of sheet music than lack of innate ability. That is, it may develop by postnatal practice than native temperament. Goal of this study is to present that first view education is giving effect to the improvement of Sight-Reading ability through efficient guidance method to able to improve Sight-Reading ability by recognizing the necessity of Sight-Reading education. In this study, this researcher presented guidance method to be able to improve Sight-Reading ability on the basis of contents that preceding study was made about the guidance method of Sight-Reading in piano education. That is, this researcher groped for method to be able to foster the sense of hand for keyboard and to be able to read by forming visual image and musical unit which is not reading each one of sound through form reading, reading in advance, and pattern reading about the eye to look at sheet music. In addition, this researcher presented the method to be able to give help to Sight-Reading playing through method for fostering forecast ability, fostering sense of sound, and accumulation of musical experience. So as to examine how guidance method presented in this study is effective for improving Sight-Reading ability, this researcher executed experiment by classifying into experiment group which received Sight-Reading education and control group which didn't receive Sight-Reading education. Two groups executed post-evaluation with same piece, and experiment group took lesson over 10 times with guidance plan of teaching that this researcher manufactured directly. After this, this researcher make the evaluation of Sight-Reading playing of experiment group and control group with same piece in post-evaluation, and this result was analyzed through statistical program, SPSS 12.0. As the result, it was confirmed that Sight-Reading education had influence on the achievement degree of Sight-Reading ability, and it was proved that efficient guidance method of first view may improve Sight-Reading ability a posterior. Therefore, systematic and efficient guidance scheme of Sight-Reading education should be groped in future piano education, and it is expected that Sight-Reading education will be motive power to be helpful for enabling students to have wide and diverse musical experience and to be able to widen playing domain.
