한국정보올림피아드 경시부문

Abstract

IT기술이 발전함에 따라 IT인재육성은 더욱 더 시급한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 하지만 우리나라 실정은 학교교육과정에서 컴퓨터 교과를 배제하고 있으며 그나마 이루어지고 있는 컴퓨터 교육도 활용 측면에만 치중되어 있다. 따라서 컴퓨터 원리에 대한 교육이 필요하다. 대한민국 정부에서 주최하는 한국정보올림피아드는 좋은 취지에도 불구하고 준비과정에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 이에 본 연구에서는 한국정보올림피아드 경시부문 초등부 지역예선을 준비하고 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있는 교재를 개발하였다. 교재의 내용은 학생들이 컴퓨터 원리를 학습할 수 있도록 프로그래밍의 기본이 되는 이산수학과 자료구조로 선정하였다. 개발된 교재는 J대학교의 정보영재교육원에 재학 중인 초등학생을 대상으로 투입하여 정보올림피아드 문제해결 능력 신장에 도움이 되었음을 밝혔다. 앞으로 정보올림피아드 지도교사를 위한 지도서의 개발 및 연수 등 컴퓨터 교육을 정상화 할 수 있는 현실적인 여건이 구비되어야 할 것이다.

IT human resource development has become an urgent issue with development of IT technology. But the computer in the school curriculum subjects are excluded and focusing on aspects of use. Therefore, it is necessary to teach the principles of computer. Korea Information Olympia despite good intention, there are many difficulties in the preparation process. In this study, the teaching material to prepare Korea Information Olympiad qualification and to study principle of computer has been developed. The content of textbooks for students to learn computer programming principles that are the basis of discrete mathematics and data structures were selected. we need guidebook and training course for teachers and conditions for teaching the principles of computer should be equipped.
