제주도 성산일출봉의 식생 및 식물상

Abstract

본 연구는 천연기념물 420호와 유네스코 세계자연유산지역인 성산일출봉의 식생특성을 파악하고 식물상을 체계적으로 조사 분석함으로서, 보전과 관리 방안을 수립할 수 있도록 기초자료를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다 교목림(Tree vegetation)은 곰솔이 군락을 이루며, 관목림(Shrub vegetation)은 우묵사스레피군락, 보리밥나무-마삭줄군락, 환삼덩굴-산뽕나무군락, 환삼덩굴-누리장나무군락, 상산군락으로, 암극 식생(Chasmophytic vegetation)은 참억새-도깨비고비군락과 참억새-부처손군락을 형성하고 있는 지역으로 구분할 수가 있었다. 초지 식생(Grassland)은 분화구 내 이대제거지역은 환삼덩굴-왕고들빼기군락, 바닥 초지 지역은 환삼덩굴-참억새군락, 해안초지지역은 갯금불초-갯메꽃군락, 분화구 외 일반초지는 띠군락을 형성하며 전체의 47.61%로 제일 많이 차지하고 있다. 제주도 성산일출봉 관속식물상은 81과 208속 262종 3변종 1품종 총 266분류군이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 생활형을 분석한 결과, 반지중식물(H) 60분류군으로 24.5%로 가장 많았고, 번식형을 조사한 결과 R5형이 148분류군으로 가장 높게 나왔으며 전체 식물상의 55.6%로 차지하였고, 산포기관형 구성은 중력산포형 (D4)이 115분류군으로 전체분류군의 43.2%으로 가장 많이 차지하였으며, 생육형 구성은 직립형(e)이 92분류군 34.6%를 가장 많이 차지하였다. 따라서 성산일출봉의 생활형은 H-R5-D4-e형으로 나타났다, 성산일출봉에 분포하는 식물구계학적 특정식물종은 Ⅴ 등급은 전국의 8.4%, Ⅳ 등급은 전국의 1.9%, Ⅲ 등급은 전국의 4.9%, Ⅱ 등급은 전국의 0.9%, Ⅰ 등급은 전국의 11.2%으로 조사되었다. 외래식물은 조경으로 식재된 수종을 포함하여 32분류군이 조사되어 전체식물상의 12%에 해당되며, 조경용으로 식재된 식물은 탐방로를 중심으로 식재되었고, 제주도 전체에 외래식물 254분류군의 12.6%를 차지한 것으로 나타나 비교적 한정된 지역에 다양한 외래식물이 분포된 것으로 판단된다.

This study was aimed to present the basic data for establishment of the plan of conservation and management by apprehending vegetation characteristics, investigating and analyzing systemically the flora of Seongsan Ilchulbong, which is the 420th natural monument, and a world natural heritage site. Tree vegetation is community made up of Pinus thunbergii, shrub vegetation is divided into Eurya emarginata community, Elaeagnusm acrophylla-Trachelospermum asiaticum community, Humulus japonicus-Morus bombycis community, Humulus japonicus-Clerodendrum trichotomum community, and Orixa japonica community, and chasmophytic vegetation is divided into Miscanthus sinensis-Cyrtomium falcatum community and Miscanthus sinensis-Selaginella tamariscina community. Grassland vegetation in inner crater where Pseudosasa japonica was removed is Humulus japonicus-Lactuca indica var. laciniata community, floor area is Humulus japonicus-Miscanthus sinensis community, grassland vegetation in the seaside is Wedelia prostrta-Calystegia soldanella community, and normal grassland in outside of crater which is 47.61% of whole area is Mperata cylindrica var. koenigii community. Vascular plants of Seongsan Ilchulbong was identified as total 266 taxa including 81 families, 208 genera, 262 species, 3 varieties and 1 forma. Of life form dormancy form of hemicyptophytes(H) was 60 taxa corresponding to 24.5%, and radicoid form of R5 was 148 taxa corresponding to 55.6% of whole flora. Composition of disseminule form of D4 was 115 taxa corresponding to 43.2% and growth form of erect form was 92 taxa corresponding to 34.6%. In conclusion, life form of Seongsan Ilchulbong is appeared to H-R5-D4-e type. Of phytogeographical indicator plants in Seongsan Ilchulbong, Ⅴ degree was 8.4%, IV degree was 1.9%, III degree was 4.9%, II degree was 0.9%, and I degree 11.2%, of national phytogeographical indicator plants. Exotic plants were investigated as 32 taxa including planted tree species, which corresponded to 12% of whole flora. Plants for landscape were planted mainly on the trail, and were appeared to 12.6% of 254 taxa of all Jeju island. Various distribution were considered in a relatively limited area.
