제주도 송당마을 본향당의 굿과 단골신앙 연구

Abstract
Main Shamanic Ritual Site Ceremony (called Bon-hyang-dang-kut), a shamanic ritual, is held at Songdang-Ri, Gujwa-eup, in Jeju island four times a year. Main Samanic Ritual site (called Bon-hyang-dang) of Songdang is the origin of Shrine Religion (called Dang-sin-ang). Shimbang who is a shaman in Bonhyangdang and Dangol who believes and follows shamanic religion takeover Bonhyangdang religion preciously and are rooted deeply. Traditionally, there is the Bonhyangdangsin, the village god, for every village in Jeju island and villians and those who are originally from the village become Dangol. So Dangols pray Dangsin who is actually their ancestor for the welfare of themselves and their family through shamanic ritual. Considering traditional shamanic ritual in modern society, Songdang-Bonhyangdang is really valuable. Therefore, this paper is a study on Songdang-Bonhyangdang-Kut and religious inheritance of Dangol in the religious life of Dangol. Songdang-Bonhyangdang is a Bonhyangdang which includes Utsongdang, Setdongdang and Alsongdang at Songdang village but before 4.3 Utsongdang is a Bonhyangdang. And the tradition of shrine religion has been maintained preciously because of Maeinsimbang who have been inherited from generation to generation in Bonhyangdang. Bonpuri (mean the shamanic interpretation of god's origin) of the god of Bonhyangdang and Bonhyangdang regulations such as Dangol, taboos, and so on are regarded importantly. So Dangols and shamans think that they are punished by Bonhyangdangsin, if they break that regulation. Espectially, after the 1981's death of Maeinsimbang who had been inherited continously, two shamans died suddenly. Dangols talked about the death of two shamans, connecting with Bonhyangdangsin, the village god. Dngols thought that shamans broke the regulation as they didn't perform Dangsin-Bonpuri properly. Dangols consider it a rule that shamans who are responsible for Bonhyangdang perform the shaman's song for Dangsin exactly as shamans in the past did. Dangols are interested in the elements of shrine religion, thinking the shaman's song for Dangsin (Dangsin-bonpuri) important. Main Shamanic Ritual site of Songdang was a Bonhyangdang where Kwangsan Kims lived primarily and the sons of them said that they had to takeover the religion as Dangols of Bonhyangdang. So Dangols have inherited the shrine religion of Main Sharmanic Ritual site (Bonhyangdang) as they keep the traditional regulation strictly and they said that if they broke the rule, they would be punished. Dangols said the experience of the miraculous efficacy story in takeovering the shrine religion of Bonhyangdang, which was based on the Religious transmission of Dangol. In addition, there was the traditional regulation of Bonhyangdang by which shamans criticized and understood the transmission of shaman's song (Bonpuri). It was what dangol have learned from the ancestors and the knowledge of Bonhyangdang that was piled by seeing Bonhyangdang-kut preformed by the shamans in the past. The shrine Religion of Bonhyangdang was keeping the tradition as Maeinsimbang was in charge of Bonhyangdang-kut for generations. Dangols are saying that the shrine religion of Bonhyangdang will be taken down continuously as they are sure of their own reigion. Dangols raise the value of lives which aren't force by avarice and philosophical thoughts through the shrine religion (Dangsinang). Bonhyangdang-kut and the Religion of Dangols have been continued with a strong tradition. This result has the sense and the value by which Bonhyangdang-kut that is broken in other villages and the religious lives of Dangols can be understood.
