Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램이 대학생의 진로성숙도와 진로의사결정에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본 연구에서는 진로선택의 단계에 있는 대학생들에게 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램을 적용하고 자신의 가치관, 적성 등을 고려하여 진로성숙도와 진로의사결정에 미치는 효과에 대해 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적에 의해 구체적으로 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.

연구문제 첫째, Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램은 대학생의 진로성숙도에 어떠한 효과가 있는가? 이에 하위 가설은 진로성숙도는 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 유의한 차이가 있을 것이다. 연구문제 둘째로, Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램은 대학생의 진로의사결정에 어떠한 효과가 있는가? 이에 하위 가설에서는 첫째, 진로의사결정유형은 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 유의한 차이가 있을 것이다. 둘째, 진로의사결정능력은 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 유의한 차이가 있을 것이다.

위 가설을 검증하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 제주특별자치도에 소재한 J대학교 재학생 1,2학년을 대상으로 '꿈을 찾아 떠나는 내 마음의 지도(Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램)'라는 공고를 내고, 이에 자발적으로 신청한 24명으로 하였다. 그리고 12명은 실험집단으로 하고 12명은 통제집단으로 하였다. 프로그램은 Holland 적성탐색검사와 2007년 청년층직업지도 프로그램의 활동 중에서 자기 이해와 직업 세계의 이해 및 의사결정의 일부분을 도입하여 지도교수와 전문가의 지도를 받고 수정 및 보완한 후 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램이 구성 되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0K for Windows 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 진로집단상담 프로그램의 효과를 구체적으로 내용 분석하기 위하여 프로그램 전 과정이 끝난 후 질문 내용에 따라 응답한 평가서와 프로그램 매 회기가 끝날 때마다 작성한 소감문을 비교․분석하여 정리하였다.

이와 같은 과정을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, '진로성숙도는 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 차이가 있을 것이다.'라는 가설은 전체 및 하위영역의 결정성, 관여성, 독립성, 성향성, 타협성 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, '진로의사결정유형은 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 차이가 있을 것이다.'라는 가설은 전체 및 하위영역에서 하위요인인 합리성만이 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, '진로의사결정능력은 Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단과 참여하지 않은 통제집단간에 차이가 있을 것이다.'라는 가설은 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과는 진로 결정성, 진로 관여성, 진로 독립성, 진로 타협성, 진로 성향을 올바르게 파악하고 진로결정에 필요한 자기 이해와 직업세계에 대한 이해는 합리적 진로의사결정능력을 향상시킬 수 있다. 즉, Holland 진로집단상담 프로그램을 적극 활용한다면 자신의 직업 적성과 방향, 그리고 직업 선택에 있어서 합리적 진로의사결정이라는 긍정적인 영향을 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 따라서, 참가자들을 학년별로 차별화하여 대상자의 수준과 요구에 맞는 운영이 필요하다. 무엇보다 대학에서는 진로 및 직업지도 차원에서 본 프로그램과 같은 실질적이고 효과적인 프로그램을 확대시키며, 체계적이고 지속적으로 운영되어야 할 것이다.

In this research, it applied Holland future group counselling program to university students at the stage of selecting their future, consider personal value, aptitude to understand their effect on future direction maturity and decision making. The research issues set in detail by these research purposes are as below.

The first research issue, what effect does Holland future group counselling program have on future direction maturity of university students? As a sub-hypothesis, there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program in future direction maturity and the control group which did not participate.

The second research issue, what effect does Holland future group counselling program have on the future direction decision of university students? As a sub-hypothesis, there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program and the control group which did not participate for the decision making. Second, there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program and the control group which did not participate for the ability of future direction decision making. This research subjected freshmans and sophomores from J university located in Jeju island to prove above hypothesis and notified the 'the map of my heart to find my dream(Holland future group counselling program)' and selected 24 volunteer applicants. And the 12 were set as experimental group and others were control group. The program introduced Holland aptitude search test and personal understanding, work world understanding and partial decision making among activities of 2007 young people work direction program. Then it was directed and edited with some supplement by directing professor and experts, the final Holland future group counselling program was created. The collected data was analyzed with the SPSS 18.0K for Windows program. There was response evaluation according to questions after the whole process of program and reviews written for each session of program were compared and analyzed to analyze the effect of future group counselling program in details.

The results from this research are as below. First, the hypothesis 'there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program in future direction maturity' had significant difference in all of decision, relation, independence, tendency, necotiation for all and sub-area. Second, the hypothesis 'there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program and the control group which did not participate for the decision making' had significant difference only in reasonability that was sub-factor in all and sub-area. Third, the hypothesis 'there will be significant difference between experimental group who participated to the Holland future group counselling program and the control group which did not participate for the ability of future direction decision making' had significant difference. These research results can help correct recognition of future direction decision and relation, independence, negotiation and tendency. Also, the understanding on self and work world necessary for future decision can improve the reasonable future direction decision making ability. That means, the active application of Holland future group counselling program can have positive effect as reasonable future direction decision making in choosing the job, work aptitude and direction. Therefore, there is an individualized operation suitable for the level and request of subjects with differentiation for each grade. Most of all, the university shall expand effective and practical programs like the program in this research in the level of future direction and work direction and they shall be systematically, consistently operated.
