한•중 FTA 추진현황과 경제효과에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- Trade ministers from across the world officially approved China's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO) in November 2001.Since then, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Chile, Pakistan (FTA) with China, respectively. Currently, Australia, the GCC of Middle East, Iceland, Norway, South Africa and Cistercian have been negotiating the FTA with China. Furthermore, Republic of Korea and India have been researched the FTA with China.
Since Korea and China established diplomatic relations, amount of trade has been raised by about 26 times, from six billion four hundred million to 168 billion three hundred million till the end of 2008. As Korea and China are neighboring counties and they are highly dependent with each other in economic, history, and culture.
The sign of FTA between Korea and China have significant effect on not only both countries, but also their neighbor countries. It play significant role both in enhancing the dependency of economic between two countries, and in increment of benefit to political security and insurance by pursuing common benefit and enlarging inter-communication and cooperation.
Based on the expectation, Korea Institute for International Economic Policy and China Development and Research Center (DRC) had reached common understanding in Non-governmental joint study from 2005 to November 2006.
Recently, the fifth conference on Industry, government and science of Korea and China (2008.6.11-13) investigated validity and expectation of Korea and China FTA, and researched current status of related policy and statue. It performed joint research on protective resolution for agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors of both countries for the sensitive parts.
Based on the pervious investigation, the thesis researches the following topics. A study on government strength of the bilateral cooperation agreement for the Korean-Chinese FTA is first performed. Then establishment of Industry, government and science for the analysis and collaboration of information is investigated. Finally, following analysis of similarities and difference on commerce, service and origins between the two countries, resolutions are proposed.
