미래형 교육과정에 의한 중학교 음악 교과서 비교·분석

Abstract

본 논문은 미래형 교육과정이라 불리는 2009개정 교육과정에 의해 개편된 중학교 음악 교과서 3종을 감상 영역에 한하여 제시한 기준에 따라 비교·분석하여, 2009 개정 교육과정의 교육과정 다양화에 따라 1교과 다 교과서 체제, 범교과 학습 그리고 타 교과와의 연계를 고려한 지도의 방향이 어떻게 나타나는지 알아보고, 교사들이 교수·학습에 도움을 줌과 동시에 바람직한 지도와 앞으로 차츰 적용되는 학년에서 더욱 효율적인 교육을 할 수 있도록 도움을 주고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 2009 개정 교육과정 및 음악 감상 교육을 고찰하여 실제 제주도내 학교에서 많이 사용되고 있는 중학교 음악 교과서 3종을 토대로 감상영역을 비교·분석하였다. 특히, 2013년 올 해 처음 적용되는 2009 개정 교과서가 갖는 의의를 통해서 교과서의 의미를 잘 파악하고 변화된 교육 과정 현장에 적용할 수 있어야겠다. 교과서 비교 분석에서는 감상 영역의 감상내용 및 학습활동과 곡명에 따라서 공통점에서는 교과서 전체에 각 요소가 산재적으로 분포되어있다는 것이 나타났고, 차이점에서는 출판사마다 특징적인 부분이 나타났다. 이를 토대로 감상 영역 안에 공통적인 부분을 가지고 타 교과와 연계 가능한 교과를 통상적인 기준으로 제시하였다. 이러한 연구 결과 교육과정에 맞춘 교수·학습을 위해서 현직 교사들은 학습지도 방향을 정립하고, 다양한 자료 수집과 동료 교사들과의 협의와 정보 교환이 필요하며 학교에서도 교육과정 계획 시 사전 협의를 이루어 변화된 교육과정이 학교 현장에 효과적으로 정착될 수 있어야겠다. 끝으로 미래형 교육과정으로 인해 음악 교과의 입지가 줄어들고 당위성이 점차 사라져가는 음악교육의 위기를 국가, 학교, 교사, 학생, 학부모 등 모두 인식하고 논의가 이루어지길 기대해 본다.

In this work, three kinds of music textbooks, updated by 2009 Educational Curriculum Revision called future-oriented curriculum, will be compared and analyzed by criteria given in the areas of music appreciation. According to the variation of 2009 Revised Curriculum, I will consider how teaching course can be varied related to '1 subject- many textbooks' system, crosscurricula, and the connection among other subjects. Also, ultimate goals of this work are helping the teachers' teaching-learning process and more appropriate and effective education along with the higher grades. Methodology of this study, in terms of 2009 Revised Curriculum and Music Appreciation Education, is comparing and analyzing the areas of appreciation based on the three most prevalent music textbooks used by middle schools in Jeju province. Especially, in 2013, as we firstly use the new textbook, we need to apprehend the meaning and adapt to the changed class in reality, regarding the significance of 2009 revised textbooks. Textbook comparison analysis shows that the similarities are scattered distribution of major elements of the textbooks in every activity and song and the differences are the characteristics of each publishing company. Based on this data, I suggest the normal standard of integrating subjects with the common parts within various areas of appreciation. As a result, current teachers should establish their teaching direction for corresponding to the new curriculum, cooperate with co-teachers to exchange useful information and collect diverse sources, and plan previously in school for the changed curriculum to settle in the real classroom. At last, I expect that the connection among the students, teachers, parents, schools, and the nation will acknowledge the crisis of music education and discuss together in a situation that its appropriateness and condition disappears due to future-oriented curriculum. - A thesis submitted to the Committee of Graduate School of Education, Jeju National University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Masters of Education in 2013. 08.
