'신데렐라'형 설화를 활용한 한국 문화교육 방법

Abstract

이 논문은 외국인을 대상으로 한 한국어 학습자에게 위해 한국 설화「콩쥐팥쥐」를 활용한 한국 문 화교육 방법과 교수·학습 과정안을 구안하여 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 이는 세계적인 보편성을 지닌 '신데렐라'형 설화인「콩쥐팥쥐」를 활용하여 학습할 경우, 비교 문화 의 관점에서 한국문화의 특성과 가치를 보다 효율적으로 가르칠 수 있다는 전제하에 이루어졌다. 이 논문의 연구 결과는 다음과 같이 정리할 수 있다. 첫째, '신데렐라' 유형에 해당하는 독일, 한국, 중국, 일본의 설화자료를 바탕으로 각국 기본 서사 구조를 분석한 후 '신데렐라' 형 설화의 보편적 서사구조를 파악하였다. 둘째, '신데렐라' 유형에 해당하는 한국 설화「콩쥐팥쥐」의 문화적 요소와 특징을 시·공간과 서사 구조, 인물의 성격과 갈등, 주제와 세계관, 미의식 등에 관점에서 탐구하였다. 셋째, 한국 설화「콩쥐팥쥐」를 활용한 한국 문화교육을 위한 교수·학습모형을 제시하고 이를 한국 어 교육현장에서 필요로 하는 실제적인 교수·학습과정안도 작성하였다. 이 과정안을 구현하기 위해 활동중심의 통합학습 방법과 현시적 교수법을 사용하여 구체화하였다. 넷째, 한국 설화「콩쥐팥쥐」를 활용한 문화교육 방법을 모색하고 구체적이고 명시적인 문화교육 교수·학습 모형과 과정안을 제시한 점과 설화를 활용한 문화교육의 효용성을 확대하였다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

This study contains new ways to teach Korean culture foreigners who learn Korean as their second language and lesson plans that utilize the Korean folk tale, Kong-Jwi Pat-Jwi.Rresults The purpose of this study is to provide learners with opportunities that understand Korean culture and educate Korean culture to them with the use of Korean folktale, Kong-Jwi Pat-Jwi, Through this investigation, I found out the productive results as below: First, in terms of its narrative structure, the Korean folktale, Kong-Jwi Pat-Jwi, shows not only Korean's strong will to overcome hardships by using the repetitive cycle of adversity and happiness, but also the Korean ideology of happiness by using the happy ending. Moreover, by constructing Double Narrative Structure consisting of two stories of before and after the marriage, we could identify that Korean women are enthusiastic progressiveness Second, from the aspect of its theme, we could recognize the fact that the novel has maximized the didactic idea of the good triumphing over the evil using the ending that the good gets over difficulty and the evil ends up in death after the good comes into conflict withthe evil. Third, the protagonist is assigned to farm work as a labor, and it eventually shows that the story has reflected a labor-oriented thinking that the Korean have had, where people consider farming as a desirable work. It can be a part of farming culture. Fourth, the protagonist of this story is reincarnated from a flower to a marble after her death. Through this procedure of reincarnation, we would notice that the folktale mirrors the Korea's respect of life in Shamanism and the idea of Buddhism. Lastly, I hope this study that has utilized the Korean folktale, Kong-Jwi Pat-Jwi will be able to give a practical help to the field of Korean language education as a teaching-learning model that provides specific lessonplans.
