표현 재료를 활용한 아동 미술 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 발달 수준에 적합한 표현 재료를 활용한 미술 지도를 통해 아동들이 자신의 생각과 경험을 자유롭게 표현할 수 있게 하고자 한다. 그리고 궁극적으로 미술교육의 목표인 미적 감수성을 기르고 창의적으로 표현하고 소통하는 어린이를 기르고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 문헌 연구를 통해 아동 미술의 발달 단계 및 아동 미술의 특징, 표현 재료와 재료 활용 방법에 대해 조사하여 정리하였다. 그리고 2학년 통합교과서에 제시되고 있는 표현 재료에 대해 분석하고 초등학교 1~2학년 교사들을 대상으로 재료를 활용에 대한 교육 현장의 실태를 설문을 통해 알아보고 분석하였다. 또한 표현 재료를 활용한 지도 방법과 교수·학습 지도 내용을 제시하였고 실제 지도 내용을 수업에 적용한 후 아동의 표현활동 과정을 관찰하고 결과를 분석하였다. 이에 다양한 표현 재료를 활용 수업은 네 가지 방법으로 실시하였다. 첫째, 바탕 재료와 채색 재료를 전통적인 재료에서 탈피하여 새로운 바탕 재료와 채색 재료를 소개하고 적용하였다. 둘째, 평면 바탕 재료인 도화지를 입체로 만들어 삼차원으로 표현하기를 실시하였다. 셋째, 채색 재료의 특성을 살려 새로운 기법을 적용한 표현 활동을 적용하였다. 넷째, 폐품을 활용한 만들기에 적용하여 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다양한 표현 재료를 활용한 수업은 아동들이 표현 활동을 놀이처럼 즐기면서 활동하여 즐거운 생활과의 목표인 즐거움을 만끽하였다. 둘째, 표현 재료를 활용한 수업은 아동들이 다양한 재료를 탐색하고 제작하면서 교사와 아동, 아동과 아동 사이에 소통하는 모습이 많아졌으며 의사소통능력을 향상시켰다. 셋째, 표현 재료를 다양하게 활용하여 지도한 결과 아동들이 표현 재료의 특성에 관심을 가지고 다양하게 표현하려는 개방적인 태도를 보여 주었다. 넷째, 표현 재료를 활용한 수업은 아동들이 선택한 재료에 따라 결과물도 매우 다양하게 나왔다. 그 결과 자신의 작품을 소중히 여기고 친구들의 작품에서 잘된 점을 찾으며 각자의 작품들의 지닌 각각의 아름다움을 보는 미적 감수성이 길러졌다. 마지막으로 표현 재료를 활용한 수업은 아동들이 표현 재료의 특성에 탐색하고 표현하는 과정에서 새로운 방법을 시도해보면서 창의적인 표현을 하게 되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 표현 재료를 활용한 미술 지도는 창의적인 표현 능력과 문제해결을 위한 의사소통능력 향상에 기여함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 앞으로 발달 단계를 고려한 표현 재료를 활용한 수업이 많이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this paper is to give an interesting activity of enjoying art activity to children through art guide which is using expression material of suitable development levels and to express their ideas and experiences of having self confidence and satisfaction freely. Also it is another purpose that children should be trained aesthetic sensitivity in the aim of art education and they must express and communicate each other creatively. I examined the development step of children's art and the characteristics oh children's art and surveyed and arranged expression materials and method using materials. I analyzed the expression materials of being presented at 2nd grade unification texts through 2009 education curriculum and surveyed the realities of school classroom on using oh materials through elementary school 1st~2nd homeroom teachers. Also I suggested the guide methods oh using material expressions and the guide contents of teaching & learning. I applied the guide contents in a real classroom activity and observed the course children's expression activities and analyzed the results. I operated the teaching of using the suggested various expression materials through four methods. Firstly, I introduced and applied new nature materials & coloring materials instead of traditional nature materials & coloring materials. Secondly, I made a drawing paper of plane nature materials a cubic and expressed it three dimensionally. Thirdly, I applied a expressing activity of using new method at expression material used widely. Fourthly, I applied and operated them aat making activities of using waste articles. These are the results of analyzing the art guide of using expression materials. First, children enjoyed expression activities like expression plays and experienced the enjoy of aim of enjoyable living. Second, children searched and made children's various materials in teaching of using expression materials. These were many chances to communicate betwween teachers and children, between children and children their communicating activities were advanced. Third, many children were interested in characteristics of expression materials after guiding of using various expression materials. they showed the open attitude of expressing their ideas and experiences in using various materials. Lastly, children had many interests in teaching of expression materials and made the best use of characteristics of expressed their ideas and creatively.
