Abstract
This study has to purpose to perform typological analysis of public
space in luxury tourist hotel in Jeju-do and to derive characteristics
of pubic space thereby providing design data of hotel construction in
the future. As a study method, hotel buildings were observed through
reference and literature review and direct visit to sites was conducted
to analyze current status and types of spatial structures.
The space of Hotels were classified guest room space, management
space and public space. Public space were segmented service, food
and beverage, banquet, leisure, and convenience space. Also the public
space type of Hotels categorized cross combination type, entrance
space form, plan type, unit space form.
This thesis has the purpose to provide the basic material through
analyzing public space of luxury tourist hotels and understanding the
relativity of them.
