수학과 창의․인성교육 수업 모형에 따른 5학년 1학기 교수․학습 자료 개발

Abstract

최근 우리나라 교육의 핵심 키워드는 창의․인성교육이다. 이러한 큰 흐름은 2009 개정 교육과정에도 반영되어 권오남 외(2010)가 수학과 창의․인성 수업 모델을 개발하였지만 실제 현장에서 수업에 바로 적용할 수 있는 교수․학습 자 료는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 권오남 외(2010)의 수학과 창의․인성교육 수업모형을 바탕으 로 수학과 5학년 1학기 창의․인성교육 교수․학습 자료를 개발하였다. 본 연구 에서 개발한 교수․학습 자료의 특징은 다음과 같이 요약해 볼 수 있다. 첫째, 창의․인성교육의 이론을 살펴보고 권오남 외(2010)의 수학과 창의․인 성교육 수업모형 및 정희윤(2014)의 교수․학습 자료의 틀을 토대로 하였다. 둘째, 권오남 외(2010)가 제시한 11개의 수업모형 중 2007개정 수학과 교육과 정 5학년 1학기 교육 내용에 적용이 어려운 자료해석과 표현 모형을 제외한 10개 의 모형을 대상으로 하였다. 셋째, 수학과 창의․인성교육 수업모형과 2007개정 교육과정 5학년 1학기에 해 당하는 수와 연산, 도형, 측정의 3개 수학과 내용 영역을 고려하여 각 수업 모형에적용 가능한 내용을 선정하였다. 넷째, 선정된 내용 중에서 수업모형별 교수․학습 자료를 개발하였다. 다섯째, 수와 연산, 도형, 측정 영역에서 하나씩의 주제를 선정하고, 동일 주제 에 대하여 2～3개의 창의․인성교육 수업모형을 적용하여 교수․학습 자료를 개 발하였다. 여섯째, 학생들이 관심과 흥미를 가지고 능동적으로 학습에 참여할 수 있도록 일상생활의 소재나 수학 동화 등을 활용하여 활동 내용으로 재구성하였다. 일곱째, 본 연구에서 개발한 자료는 학교, 학생, 지역 등 다양한 조건을 고려하 여 재구성하여 사용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 개발된 교수․학습 자료들은 학교, 학생, 지역 등 다양한 조건을 고려하여 교사에 의해 재구성되어 활용되어야 하며, 창의․인성 교육의 활성화를 위해서는 교육 현장에서의 다양한 후속 연구가 계속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이 다.

The recent core keyword of the educational policy in Korea is creativity & character education. Such main trend was reflected on the curriculum of 2009 amendment and O-nam Kwon et al.(2010) developed a creativity & character teaching models for mathematics but there is not enough teaching-learning material that could be immediately applied to actual lectures. Hence, this study developed mathematics teaching-learning material for creativity & character education in the first semester of the 5th grade, based on the mathematics teaching models for creativity & character education of O-nam Kwon(2010). The characteristics of the teaching-learning material developed in this study can be summarized as follows;First, this study explored the theory of creativity & character education and referred to O-nam Kwon's(2010) creativity/personality teaching models and the frame of Hi-yoon Jeong's(2014) teaching-learning material for mathematics. Second, among the 11 teaching models proposed by O-nam Kwon(2010), 10 models were selected for this study excluding the material interpretations and expression models difficult to be applied to the 2007 amendment of the mathematics curriculum for the first semester of the 5th grade. Third, considering the mathematics teaching models for creativity & character education and the three teaching areas for mathematics such as number and operation, figure and measurement corresponding to the 2007 amendment of the mathematics curriculum for the first semester of the 5th grade, the contents applicable to each teaching models were selected. Fourth, out of the selected contents, the teachingーlearning materials for each teaching model were developed. Fifth, after selecting one subject each in the areas of number and operation, figure and measurement and then applying the 2～3 teaching models for creativity & character education to one same subject, the teaching-learning materials were developed. Sixth, The contents of activities were reorganized utilizing daily life materials or mathematical fairy tales so that students might actively participate in the class with their attention and interest. Seventh, the materials developed in this study can be used after restructuring in consideration of various conditions such as school, student and region. The teaching-learning materials developed in this study should be utilized after recomposition by teachers considering various conditions such as school, student and region, and diversified follow-up studies should be continuouslyconducted in education fields in order to vitalize the creativity & character education.
