음악 감상 수업 지도 방안 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 실제 음악 감상 수업에서 학생들의 관심과 흥미를 유발하고 인성함양 및 정서 개발을 위한 동기 유발로써 클래식 영화를 수업 자료로 선택하여 효과적인 음악 감상 수업 지도 방안을 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 방법은 이론적 배경에서 음악 감상 교육의 정의와 필요성 및 방법을 알아보고, 청소년기 클래식 음악 감상의 필요성과 클래식 음악 영화에 대해 살펴보았다. 다음으로 음악 감상 지도를 위한 영화를 이해하기 위해 클래식 음악 영화 11개를 소개하고 영화에 삽입된 클래식 곡들을 줄거리와 함께 소개하였다. 11개의 클래식 음악 영화 중 영화 ｢카핑베토벤(Copying Beethoven)｣, ｢피아니스트(The Pianist)｣, ｢아마데우스(Amadeus)｣, ｢파리넬리(Farinelli the Castrato)｣ 4개를 선정하여 4차시의 실제 지도안을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 실제 클래식 음악 영화를 활용한 감상 수업을 실시한 후 설문을 받아 이를 분석하여 결과를 도출하였다. 클래식 음악 영화를 활용해 감상 수업을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 클래식 음악영화를 활용한 음악 감상 수업은 학생들의 음악에 대한 이해도와 수업내용의 기억에 많은 도움이 되었고 영화를 통해 보면서 듣는 감상을 할 수 있었다. 또한 시각적인 자료를 활용함으로써 수업이 쉽게 느껴지며 클래식 음악 감상을 하는데 있어 흥미가 생겼다고 대답하였다. 이에 따라 학생들은 전통적인 감상 수업에서 변화되어 새로운 수업을 원하고 있고 새로운 감상 수업 방법으로 클래식 음악 영화를 활용한 음악 감상 수업이 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 결과 교사들은 감상 교육의 중요성을 다시 한번 인식하여 클래식 음악 영화를 비롯한 다양한 영상매체를 찾아 수업에 활용한다면 유익하고 흥미로운 감상 수업이 될 수 있을 것이다. 효율적인 음악 감상 교육 방법에 대한 연구가 계속되기를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to trigger student's interests and to create an effective teaching method in music listening classes by adopting movies about classical music as a motivation of cultivating one's personality and emotion. In this study, the researcher studied the definition, the need and the method of music listening education in theoretical background and the need of teenager's listening to classical music, and looked into the movies about classical music as well. Then, the researcher introduced 11 movies of classical music and the classical music inserted in movies with the story of the movie to understand the teaching of music listening with movies. The researcher chose 4 movies ｢Copying Beethoven｣, ｢The Pianist｣, ｢Amadeus｣ and ｢Farinelli the Castrato｣ out of 11 movies of classical music and suggested 4 teaching plans of watching movies about classical music in real class. Lastly, the result was deduced analyzing the survey after having implemented the class utilizing the movies about classical music actually. Following is the result of the class utilizing the movies about classical music. The class was helpful to students in understanding music and remembering the content of the class. Students were also able to appreciate the music through listening to and watching the movie. Students answered they got interested in listening to classical music and got familiar with the music class by utilizing the visual aid. Therefore, the researcher found that students did not want a traditional way of music listening class but a new one and the class utilizing a movie about classical music as a new way of music listening class was quite effective. As a result, to have a useful and interesting music listening class, teachers should recognize the importance of listening education, find various types of visual media and utilize them to their classes. The researcher looks forward to continuing the study about effective teaching methods of music listening.
