코다이(Zoltán Kodály) 교수법을 활용한 바이올린 학습지도안 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 코다이(Zoltán Kodály) 교수법을 활용한 바이올린 학습지도안에 대 한 연구이며, 음악교수법 중에서 코다이 교수법을 활용하여 학생들이 음악이론과 바이올린을 쉽게 이해하고 다가올 수 있을까라는 것에 중점을 두고 학습지도안 6차시를 시연하였고, 제주지역 A 초등학교 5학년 학생 10명, 6학년 학생 10명, 총 20명 학생을 대상으로 사전 · 사후 평가지와 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 음악 수업 대한 흥미도, 바이올린에 대한 생각, 바이올린을 접해본 경험, 계이 름 읽기, 리듬 읽기, 박자 앍기, 작곡의 경험 및 흥미도를 설문지를 통하여 사전 · 사후로 비교 분석하였고, 평가지를 통하여 사전 · 사후를 비교하였다. 연구 결과 초등학생 5, 6학년 학생들은 본 연구자의 수업을 듣기 전보다 들은 후 음악 수업 흥미도에 대한 반응이 높아졌고, 음악 이론 수업과 바이올린 실기 수업을 통해 이해력과 습득력이 매우 효과적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 수업을 받기 전에 비해 수업을 통해 음악 수업에 대한 흥미도와 바이올 린에 대한 생각, 작곡에 대한 흥미도도 조금씩은 향상되었으며, 특히 계이름 읽 기, 리듬 읽기, 박자에 대한 이해도가 높게 나타났다. 물론 좋은 점만 있었던 것 은 아니다. 본 연구자는 모든 코다이 교수법을 활용하여 지도안을 작성한 것이 아니기 때문에 결과에 대해 제한이 있을 수 있으며, 학생 20명으로만 수업을 하였으며, 20명 학생의 수준이 동일하지 않으므로 이를 일반화 하는데 제한이 있을 수 있 다.따라서 본 연구자의 수업은 더 많은 코다이 교수법을 활용한 지도안을 작성 하여, 많은 학생들과 함께 이 수업을 공유해 나갈 수 있는 기회를 마련해야 할 것이다. 또한 더 많은 설문지 내용과 평가지 내용을 작성하여 학생들의 성향을 더 많이 알아보고 판단하여, 더 큰 효과를 기대할 수 있을지도 고민해 나가야 할 것이다. 구체적인 연구방법을 통하여 음악 이론 교육과 바이올린 실기 교육의 장 을 넓혀 간다면 앞으로의 음악 교육은 더욱 더 발전해 나갈 것이다.

This study is a research about a violin teaching plan utilizing Zoltán Kodály method. How students can easily understand music theories and approach to the violin practicing using Zoltán Kodály method among music teaching methods is emphasized in this study and six lessons were put into practice based on this. Also a survey, containing both pre-post evaluation forms and questionnaires which were filled out by 20 elementary school students from after-school violin classes(each 10 students of 5th and 6th graders) whose school was located in Jeju City, Jeju Self-Governing Province, was carried out. The researcher analyzed the result comparing the evaluation forms and questionnaires held before and after the six lessons which asks about how much they are interested in music classes, how they think of the violin, how much experience they have in the violin, how much they can read the syllable names, how much they know about rhythms and beats, if they have an experience in composing and how much they are interested in composing.As a result, responses indicated that their interests on the music class became higher after attending the researcher's lessons than before and comprehension and learning ability appeared to be very effective during music theory classes and violin practicing classes. Also, their interests on the music class and composition and opinions of the violin were improved a little through the class and a lot in reading the syllable names and understanding the rhythms and beats compared to those before attending the class. Of course, there were not good aspects only. Limitations on results would exist because the researcher did not make the teaching plan by utilizing all the Kodály teaching methods, and restrictions in generalizing the result would be inevitable because the learners the researcher had were only 20 students and the levels of all the 20 students were not equivalent as well. Therefore, the researcher's class has to make opportunities of being able to share it with expanded numbers of students by making teaching plans utilizing more Kodály methods. In addition, the researcher has to concern about whether the great effect could be expected by making more questionnaire contents and evaluation forms looking into and judging students' tendencies further. If educational tools on the music theories and the violin practices are widen through detailed research methods, music education would develop increasingly in the future.
