관계적 관점에서 본 초등 교과서 내 동요지도 방안

Abstract

21세기에 접어들면서 급변하는 사회 속에서 오늘날의 학생들을 전인적인 인간으로 육성하는 것을 교육목표로 삼는다. 이에 따라 2009 개정 교육과정에서 추구하는 인간상에서도 문화적 소양과 다원적 가치에 대해 이해하는 것을 강조하고 있으며, 공동체 발전에 참여하는 사람으로 교육시키는 것을 중요시하게 제시하고 있다. 이런 시대적 흐름에 기인하여 음악 교육 역시 학생들에게 단순히 기능 중심의 음악 활동에서 벗어나 음악이 학생들의 삶 속에서 녹아들어 문화적 소양을 길러 줄 수 있는 교육으로 흘러가야 한다. 또한 공동체 발전에 참여하는 사람으로 기르기 위하여 학생들 주변의 관계들 속에서 음악을 활용할 수 있도록 지도해야 한다. 이를 위해서는 음악 활동 중에 가장 많은 비중을 차지하며 모든 학생이 특별한 재능이 없이도 참여할 수 있는 가창 활동 속에서 이러한 점들이 고려되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 6학년 학생들이 주변에서 가장 가깝게 접할 수 있는 관계를 파악하여 자신과의 관계, 타인과의 관계, 다문화적 관계, 자연과의 관계라는 관계적 분류 기준을 수립하였다. 이러한 관계적 관점 안에서 동요를 어떻게 접근하고 있는지 서술한 후에 현재 사용하고 있는 2009 개정 교육과정 중 6학년 음악과 교과서 6종에 수록된 제재곡을 관계적 관점으로 분류 짓고, 분석하여 각 관점별로 문제점을 살펴보았다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제시한 관계적 관점을 바탕으로 각 관계를 활용하여 가장 적합하게 지도할 수 있다고 생각되는 제재곡을 제시하여 학생들의 음악적 기능과 정서 교육에 도움이 될 수 있는 수업 방법을 제시하였다. 특히 음악 교과 안에서만 학습하는 것이 아니라 다른 교과 및 제재들과 통합적으로 이루어질 수 있는 교육 방법을 모색하였다. 본 연구는 관계적 관점으로 동요를 바라보고 그에 따른 지도 방법 제시를 함으로써 일선 교사들이 동요를 관계적 관점으로 분석할 필요성을 인식하고, 다른 교과 및 제재와 통합적으로 이루어질 수 있는 음악 교육 지도 방안을 적극적으로 연구하는 기회가 되길 기대해본다.

In the 21st Century, it is necessary to holistic human development in education. Along with education. Along with educational objectives, music education should be emphasis on cultural relevancy and pluralistic values. And music education should be bring up human who participate in common prosperity. Along with this stream of times, music education in elementary school should not be limited to providing students with basic musical skills by simple music activities. Instead, music education should encourage students to have music in their lives and to have broad understanding of music and an eye for music. And it is worth consideration to relative music education and students' relations. Because we need to bring up students as for human who participate in common prosperity. This study aims to provide an approach to children's songs using a students' surrounding relationship. This study suggest 4 relationship that surround 6th grade students. 4 relationships include relations with one's own self, other people, other culture and nature. In this point of view, this study analyze children's songs using a relation angle and examine the problem of songs from 6 music textbooks of the 2009 Revised Educational Curriculum, which are currently used at schools by analyzing the songs. In addition, this study classifies appropriate songs for elementary music education based on musical perspective and finds a teaching method for teachers to teach music various musical perspectives.
