2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 과학 I 탐구활동 분석

Abstract

2009 개정 교육과정에서는 '과학'은 기본 개념을 이해하고 과학 탐구 능력을 함양하여 과학적 소양을 기르는 교과로 탐구 활동 중심의 학습이 이루어진고 제 시한다. 따라서 2009 개정 교육과정에 의한 중학교 과학I 인정 교과서 9종의 '힘 과 운동' 단원에 제시된 탐구활동을 분석하여 2009 개정 교육과정의 지침을 따르 는지 확인하였다. 인정 교과서 9종의 '힘과 운동' 단원에서 다루어지는 탐구활동을 3차원 분석 틀을 이용하여 분석하였고 그 결과 탐구활동의 주제는 교과서별로 다양한 문항 으로 제시되고 있지만 탐구활동의 내용은 2009 개정 교육과정에서 제시한 학습 내용 성취 기준과 탐구활동을 반영하고 있는 것으로 분석됐다. 또한 중학교 과학 I 9종 교과서의 '힘과 운동' 단원은 기술적 도구를 사용한 '관찰'과 '측정'을 통해 실험에서 얻은 자료를 해석하여 과학적 지식과 원리를 이해하는 탐구활동으로 많이 제시됨을 알 수 있었다.

A revised curriculum in 2009 suggested for 'Science' as a subject edu cating students to improve the scientific ability through understanding the basic concepts and cultivating scientific inquiry ability. We invested with analysing the inquiry activity in the 'force and motion' section, whether 9 authorized Science I textbooks in the middle school follow the guidelines of the revision curriculum in 2009. Analysing with 3- Dimensional analysis tool, we found that the topics of inquiry activity are provided in the multiple items while the contents of inquiry activity meets the requirements of the content standards and the essential inquiry activity of a revised curriculum in 2009. Also, we found that the 'force and motion' section in 9 textbooks of Science I in the middle school provides the inquiry activity majorly to understand the scientific principles through analysis the data taken by 'observation' and 'measurement' using the technical tools.
