Abstract

This study investigated the hotel banquet selection attributes in Jeju Island for Chinese investors in Jeju Island. In particular, the purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the difference of selection factors for Chinese investors in Jeju Island of business banquet and family feast. For the purpose, this study examined the various theories, hotel banquet for Chinese investors in Jeju Island, and investigating the literature on hotel banquet Chinese investors selection attributes to justify this research model. The hypothesis is being a difference in Jeju hotel banquet selection attributes for Chinese investors dependent on different purposes. Questionnaires were used for quantitative empirical research, with 200 questionnaires being distributed and collected at KEB Hana Bank. And 186 of these were utilized in analysis. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, the following seven selection attributes , 'services', 'price', 'space', 'beverage', 'accessibility', 'direction', 'hotel image' were extracted and utilized in the analysis of hypothesis. Second, Jeju hotel banquet selection attributes for Chinese investors in Jeju Island showed differences in ranking for 'beverage', 'space', 'direction', 'price', whereas there was no difference in attribution in 'services', 'accessibility' and 'hotel image'. The results would be utilized for a study assist domestic aviation marketers to understand the characteristics of Chinese investors and to develop the marketing strategy of Jeju hotel banquet industry.
