Abstract

'Le Roman(소설, 이야기)'라는 어원을 가진 19세기 낭만주의 음악은 개인의 감정을 다양한 방법으로 나타내고자 한다. 특히 시적인 독창성을 지닌 이야기를 이끌어가는 선율의 효과적인 사용은 음악과 문학의 결합이 나타나는 낭만시대의 중요한 서법으로 자리하게 된다. 본 논문의 연구 목적은 슈만의 피아노곡 중 여러 가지 어법이 효과적으로 사용된 를 연구하여, 그의 음악의 독창적인 특성과 선율의 흐름을 살펴보고, 이로써 이 곡을 해석하고 연주하는데 도움이 되고자 하는 것이다. 본 논문은 의 작곡배경과 이 곡에 나타나는 특이점에 대해 구성, 인용, 음향, 기보법의 영역으로 나누어 알아본다. 또한 이와 같은 슈만의 독창적인 어법은 선율의 전달을 위한 것이므로, 본 논문에서는 기존의 형식 분석에서 벗어나 선율을 중심으로 연구한다. 1악장은 서주로 시작하며, 클라라 선율과 베토벤 선율로 진행되고 이 선율들은 곡의 진행에 통일성을 부여한다. 2악장은 론도형식을 차용하여 A1-B1-A2-C1-B2-A3-Coda로 구성되어 있다. 하지만 기존의 론도양식과는 달리 A부분의 주선율이 매번 다른 형태로 변형되어 등장하고 있고, A2부분은 그 길이가 짧게 나타난다. 3악장은 서주와 A부분이 2번 되풀이 되는 가곡 양식에 의한 구성이다. 이와 같이 낭만시대의 어법은 '가사 없는 가곡'의 양식이 주를 이루게 되며, 슈만은 이 곡에서 그의 환상에 대한 표현을 정확한 기보로 전하고 있다.

The romantic music of the 19th century with the etymology "Le Roman (novel, story)" wants to show personal feelings in various ways. Effective use of the melody, especially with poetic creativity, became an important mood in the romantic era which existed the combination of music and literature. The purpose of this thesis is studying the characteristics of Schumann's music and the flow of melody by researching his piano song . It will help someone to interpret and play the song. In this paper, I will find out the background of compositing the song and the musical peculiarities of this song in the areas of composition, quotation, sound, and notation. Since Schumann's original word method is for the transmission of melody, in this thesis, I will focus on the melody. The first movement begins with an introduction and is performed in Clara melody and Beethoven melody, this melody gives unity to the progression of the song. The second movement borrows Rondo format and onsists of A1 - B1 - A2 - C1 - B2 - A3 - Coda. However, unlike the conventional Rondo format, the main melody of part A has been transformed into a different form every time and the length of A 2 is shorter than the others. The 3 movement is composed of the song form in which the parts of an introduction and A are repeated twice. In this way, the form of romantic era is connected mainly to the form of "song without lyrics", and Schumann told the expression of his fantasy with precise notation in this song.
