색채교육을 통한 초등학생의 미적 취향 함양 방법 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 초등학교 5학년 학생을 대상으로 하여 미적 취향을 함양하고 실생활에서 색채에 적절히 반응하는 것에 목적이 있다. 초등학생들은 미적 취향이 성립되기 이전이며 자신이 좋아하는 것에 대한 생각을 하는 기회가 많지 않다. 따라서 이들은 충동적으로 선택을 내리게 되며, 자신의 취향은 크게 신경 쓰지 않는다. 따라서 색채교육을 통하여 색에 다양한 방법으로 노출 시키고 좋아하는 색을 직접 골라보면서 색에 대한 민감성을 높이고 미적 취향을 높이고자 한다. 현재 2009 개정 교육과정에서 제시하고 있는 색채 교육은 이론적인 접근이 주를 이룬다. 단순히 색을 비교해 보고 그것에서 느낄 수 있는 것을 제시하는 정도이다. 이런 방식의 교과서 구성이 이루어지니 교사나 학생이 색채 교육에 흥미를 느낄 수 없다. 또한, 지도방법이 구체적이지 않아 실질적으로 수업을 하는 교사 또한 어려움을 느꼈다. 그렇기에 본 연구에서는 첫째로는 학생들이 다양한 방식으로 색에 노출되는 상황을 만들고 두 번째로는 교사들이 프로젝트를 진행함에 있어서 어려움이 없도록 하는 방향으로 지도 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 10시간의 지도 방안은 2차시 씩 5회로 계획하였다. 1-2차시를 통하여 다양한 색에 노출되어 체험해 보고, 3-4차시를 통하여 직접적으로 혼색을 해보며 체험적으로 색채를 경험할 것이다. 5-6차시는 이야기를 통하여 색채가 주는 미묘한 감정에 대하여 생각해보고 7-8차시는 스마트 패드를 이용하여 다채로운 색상을 직접 경험하고 비교해보며 내가 끌리는 색이 무엇인지 찾아 볼 것이다. 마지막으로 는 색채가 취향을 바탕으로 나의 개성을 표현할 수 있음을 알고 나의 상징 스티커를 만드는 활동을 제시하였다. 이러한 활동을 통하여 학생들의 미적 취향을 함양하며 앞으로의 자신의 취향을 잘 가꾸어나갈 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 나아가 자신의 취향을 바탕으로 정체성 있는 학생으로 성장할 수 있기를 바래본다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the ability to perceive the color sensitively by improving esthetic taste for 5th grade students of elementary school. Most of the students have no chance to consider about what they like. It means they have no idea about their esthetic taste. So when they are buying something or choosing what to do, usually act impulsively rather than think deeply. As you can see, they are unconcerned with esthetic taste. Through the study of art class methods using colors, give students a chance to experience colors in many ways and choose a color based on their own esthetic taste. By choosing the color they like, they can improve their esthetic taste and color sensibility. In the present 2009 curriculum, there are only theoretical approaches like feeling colors by comparing and simply coloring brightness level. Students and teachers are not interested in this kind of approach. And as a teaching method in the teacher's guide is not specific enough, many teachers in class have difficulty in teaching colors in practice. So, this study proposes two things. First, Students should be exposed colors in many ways. Second, teachers should feel easy when they teach colors using this project. This project is composed of 10 periods. First-Second periods, student have an experience of variety colors. Third-Fourth periods, student mix colors in practice and feel the color how they mixed. Fifth-sixth periods, student have a time to talk about the emotions that colors have. Seventh-eighth periods, student choose a color that they like based on their aesthetic taste and recognize of the spectrum of colors in smart pad. And last ninth and tenth periods, student know that colors can represent themselves and make their symbol stickers using the color they choose. Through this project, I expect that students improve their esthetic taste and be a better person who have his own identity.
