피아노와 합창 교육이 아동의 인성에 미치는 영향

Abstract

지역 아동센터는 지역 사회 내에 아동의 건강한 성장을 도와주는 통합적 복지 서비스를 제공하는 공간이다. 그리고 가족의 기능을 보완, 강화하여 아동이 학교와 가정생활을 안정되게 해 나갈 수 있도록 돕는다. 그러나 지역 아동센터에서의 프로그램은 교과 학습 위주로 되어 있어 아동의 흥미와 욕구를 반영하지 못하고 있다. 특히 아동이 정서적, 심리적으로 안정감 있게 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 프로그램이 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 피아노와 합창 교육이 지역 아동센터 아동들의 인성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구는 제주특별자치도 서귀포시의 6개 지역 아동센터를 이용하고 있는 아동들 중 현재 피아노와 합창을 배우고 있는 아동들과 예전에 피아노와 합창을 배웠었던 아동들을 대상으로 설문하였다. 설문지는 본 연구자가 직접 제작하여 사용하였으며, 설문의 내용을 각 항목별로 집계하여 백분율로 나타내었다. 피아노 교육에 대해 설문한 아동은 총 70명이며, 6개 지역 아동센터의 아동들이 설문에 응답하였다. 합창 교육에 대해 설문한 아동은 총 85명으로 5개의 지역 아동센터 아동들이 설문에 응답하였다. 분석결과를 통해 나타난 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 피아노와 합창의 학습 실태를 조사하였다. 그 결과 피아노를 지역 아동센터에서 처음 배우고 과반수이상의 아동들이 지속적으로 피아노와 합창 교육 받기를 선호하였다. 둘째, 음악수업에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 그 결과 합창보다는 피아노 교육이 음악교과를 공부하는 데 더 도움이 되며 특히 음이나 리듬을 익히는 데 더 효과적인 것을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 피아노와 합창 학습이 아동의 인성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 조사하였다. 피아노를 배우고 난 후에는 인내력과 참을성이 생겼으며 자아 성취감을 느낀다고 하였다. 합창을 배우고 난 후에는 자신감이 향상되고 또래와의 관계를 호전시켰다. 이렇듯 피아노와 합창 교육은 지역 아동센터 아동들에게 인내력과 자신감을 향상시키며 음악교과 학습과 친구 관계를 호전시켰다.

A local child center is a space that provides integrated welfare services to help children develop properly as they grow up within the community. It helps reinforce family function and helps children stay focused in school and home life. However, local children's centers are centered on academic learning and therefore do not reflect the interests and desires of children. In particular, there are insufficient programs to help children develop emotional and psychological growth. Therefore, this study explores how piano and choral education affect children's personality in the local children's centers. The study targeted children using six local children's centers in Seogwipo, Jeju Island and surveyed children who are currently learning piano and choral education and children who previously learned the piano and choral education. The questionnaire was produced by this researcher, and contents of the questionnaire were aggregated by each item and expressed as a percentage. A total of 70 children were surveyed about the effectiveness of the piano education. A total of 85 children were surveyed about the effectiveness of the choral education. The results of the questionnaire are as follows : First, I studied the learning condition of the piano and the chorus. The questionnaire found that children were introduced the piano at the local children's centers. And more than half of the children preferred to continue receiving the piano and choral education. Second, I researched the effects of piano and choral education the children at school. According to this questionnaire, the piano education was more helpful in studying music classes than the choral education. In particular, piano and choral education was more effective to improve students' ability to master the sounds and rhythms. Third, I researched how the piano and choral learning affect children's personality. The questionnaire found that after learning the piano education, children became patient and perseverant and felt self fulfilled. Also, after learning the choral education, children improved their self-esteem and improved their relationships with peers. As a result, the piano and choral education have improved the patience, confidence, friendship and musical abilities to children who are in local children's centers.
