A Study on the Selection Attributes and Satisfaction of Chinese Medical Tourism
Abstract
There is a 'medical Korean wave' fever in all over the world, and most of the results of Korean medical technology show that it has more than 80 points, and has close or equal technology and development ability compared to the United States with the best beauty technology. Therefore, patients from China, the United States, Russia, and the Middle East are looking for Korea to receive treatment and health checkups in the belief of high quality medical technology in Korea. Especially, as the world economy is developing at a high speed, the rapid development of the Chinese economy is increasing as people become more interested in living standards as the society develops and consumption is increasing like appearance management. The purpose of this study is to provide customer - oriented service according to the demographic characteristics of Chinese people who have medical tourism experience and to find out the satisfaction of the Chinese medical tourists and recommendation intentions. The purpose of this study is to divide the selection characteristics of medical tourism in Korea into 4 categories for Chinese medical tourists and according to the relationship of satisfaction, it is to analyze the relationship of recommendation intention. The relationship of satisfaction according to the leeway selection attribute, and the satisfaction degree are analyzed. In this study, for the purpose of empirical analysis, we conducted a questionnaire survey on Chinese patients using Korean plastic hospitals for 17 days from October 7, 2017 to October 24, 2017, and 302 copies of the questionnaire translated into Chinese were distributed and 292 copies were used for the analysis. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, reliability analysis, difference analysis, factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS statistical program. First, it reveals the differences of medical tourism selection attributes according to the demographic and behavioral characteristics of the sample. As a result of analysis, males are more important than females in the case of tourism activities, and the ages are high in the 20s and 30s. Second, it showed significant influence on specialty, acilities and environment, post management, tourism activities and satisfaction of medical tourism selection attributes. If professionalism has the greatest effect on satisfaction, the experienced person can show that professionalism is the most important. Third, satisfaction with medical tourism has a statistically significant effect on recommendation intention. Therefore, the satisfaction of tourists in Korean medical tourism means that they can induce the intention and urge to recommend to others. Therefore, it can be considered as one country in each region in China. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the attributes and satisfaction of tourist attractions in detail and to develop detailed and strategic marketing activities for the Chinese market based on previous studies. Finally, since the study was conducted on Chinese medical tourists who had experienced plastic surgery in Korea, it was suggested the product strategy that can meet the desire of the medical tourists by examining the attributes of the cosmetic tourism for the experienced person. Based on the results of this study, it suggests the development directions for the development of desirable medical tourism industry and it can be useful data for development of subdivided medical tourism products.
