Abstract

As an important part of the native korean vocabulary, onomatopoeic and mimetic words are used a lot in Korean's daily life. The onomatopoeic and mimetic words are brief yet deliver rich meanings and senses in spoken and written language. By using onomatopoeic and mimetic words, the perform ance effects of language can be strengthened and we can express human emotion and describe specific objects smoothly and directly. But it is very difficult for foreign Speakers to understand and use the onomatopoeic and mi metic words as native speakers. Therefore, an eduction of onomatopoeic and mimetic words is necessary, especially for the medium-high leaners who want a high-level ability of communication. Purpose: It will be known by reader through the paper's relating and analyze that importance of Korean onomatopoeia and imitative words, And adopting a suitable program to teach foreign students for getting the hang of learning Korean so that they can to become proficient for using Korean with interesting and easier.
