마이크로비트를 활용한 디자인 사고 중심 SW교육에 대한 연구

Abstract

창의성을 기반으로 하는 디자인은 창의성 신장에 있어서 효과적임이 지금까지 여러 연구를 통해 밝혀졌다. 본 연구의 목적은 마이크로비트를 활용한 디자인 사고 중심 SW(소프트웨어)교육이 초등학생의 창의성에 미치는 효과를 규명하는데 있다. 이를 위해 무작위로 선별된 제주에 거주하는 초등학생 4, 5, 6학년을 대상으로 SW교육에 관한 사전요구조사를 실시하였으며, 이를 반영하여 마이크로비트를 활용한 디자인 사고 중심의 SW교육 프로그램 및 교재를 개발하였다. 이렇게 개발한 교육 프로그램을 이용하여 제주도 내에서 선착순 신청에 의해 선발된 4, 5, 6학년 초등학생 25명을 대상으로 총 48차시에 걸쳐 교육을 실시하였다. 창의성 신장 여부를 알아보기 위해 사전과 사후로 나누어 TTCT검사를 하였고 수집된 자료는 대응표본 t-검정을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서 개발한 교육프로그램은 초등학생의 창의성 신장에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of design thinking software based on micro-bit on the creativity of elementary school students. To do this, we conducted preliminary surveys on SW education for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade elementary students in Jeju Island randomly selected and developed a software education program and a textbook based on design thinking using micro beat. Using these educational program, 25 elementary school students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade selected on the first-come-first-served basis in Jeju Island conducted a total of 4 training sessions. The TTCT test was divided into two groups, pre-and pre-test, and the collected data were analyzed by t-test. As a result, the educational programs developed in this study were found to be effective in enhancing the creativity of elementary school students.
