The Effect of Casino's Job Environment on the Turnover Intention of Casino Dealer:A Study on Landing Casino in Jeju Myth World
Abstract
This study started with the idea of 'What is the company I want to stay
for a long time' by identifying the factors affecting the turnover intention,
focusing on the job environment factors of casinos, and removing or improving the negative factors of the job environment.
The purpose of this study was to empirically analyze the effects of job environment on the turnover intention of casino dealers. For this purpose, this study provides the basis for empirical research through the review of previous studies on job environment and turnover intention of casinos. Furthermore, the purpose of this study is to find out what factors have the most influence on turnover intention among many factors.
This study was to investigate which factors of all the job environments affect the turnover intention of the most employees, and then to improve the work environment of the Jeju Myth World landing casino dealers in Jeju, to awaken the importance of casino employees to the executives of the company in the future, and to provide a foundation for feeling pride as a professional.
To achieve the purpose of this study, the empirical research method was combined with the literature review. For this study, a research model and hypothesis were set up to conduct an empirical study based on the theoretical background of job environment and turnover intention by using domestic and foreign research papers, books, and other materials. Based on the survey of 124 dealers of Jeju Myth World Landing Casino Sales Department, the validity of this study was empirically verified.
The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the working form and working environment were the factors affecting turnover intention.
This means that if the table labor intensity, the shift change cycle of the three shifts, and the working environment for the employees are improved, the turnover intention may be lowered.
Jeju Myth World Landing Casino dealers had more troubles with working
hours and working environment than other casinos, and concluded that salary was not statistically related to turnover intention.
In most papers related to other job environments, salary is derived as an influential factor, but it is meaningful that salary is not applicable in this paper.
This can be defined as a study showing the importance of work-life balance of busy modern people.
Jeju Myth World Landing Casino opened in 2018 and has seen a lot of turnover over the past two years compared to the company's capital and size.
In order to achieve good management performance in a situation where it is difficult to attract customers due to the emergence of large casinos, the importance of human resource management of casino dealers should be forgotten.
Therefore, in addition to regulations on the casino industry, it is necessary
to study the system and working environment that can improve the efficiency of the job of the casino dealer.
