유아교사가 지각한 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과

Abstract

본 연구는 유아교사가 지각한 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에서 긍정심리자본의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 유아 교사의 긍정심리자본을 향상시키고 심리적 소진 예방 프로그램에 대한 효과적인 접근법을 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였 다. 연구문제 1. 유아교사가 지각한 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에서 긍정심리자본은 매개효과가 있는가? 본 연구는 제주도내 유치원 30곳에 근무하고 있는 유아교사들을 대상으로 사회 적 지지와 긍정심리자본, 심리적 소진을 측정하는 자기 보고식 측정 도구를 배포 하여 282부로 최종 분석하였다. 수집된 자료를 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 연구 변인의 일반적인 경향성과 정규분포 가정 충족 여부를 확인하기 위한 기술 통계 분석과 변인 간의 상관관계 분석, 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영 향에서 긍정심리자본의 매개 효과를 분석하였고 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 유아교사가 지각한 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향에서 긍정심리자 본의 매개 효과를 검증한 결과 긍정심리자본이 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미 치는 영향에서 부분매개효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 즉, 유아교사가 지각한 사회 적 지지는 심리적 소진에 직접적으로 영향을 줄 뿐 아니라 긍정심리자본에 영향 을 주고 이를 통해 간접적으로 심리적 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 해석 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 연구결과는 유아교사가 지각한 사회적 지지와 긍정심리자본이 심리 적 소진을 예방하는 변인임을 확인하였다는 데 의의가 있으며, 유치원에서 다양 한 이유로 인해 심리적 소진을 경험하는 유아교사에게 사회적 지지는 물론 긍정 심리자본에 대한 지원이 필요함을 시사한다.

This study aims to verify the mediating effect of positive psychological capital on the effect of social support perceived by preschool teachers on psychological exhaustion. The purpose of this study is to improve the positive psychological capital of preschool teachers based on the research results and provide an effective approach for programs to prevent psychological exhaustion. For this, the following research problem was established. Research problem 1: Does positive psychological capital have a mediating effect on the effect of social support perceived by preschool teachers on psychological exhaustion? This study performed a self-report survey with preschool teachers working at 30 kindergartens located in Jeju-do to measure their social support, positive psychological capital and psychological exhaustion, and 282 answer sheets were finally analyzed. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 program to perform a descriptive statistical analysis, which is for determining the general tendency of the research variables and the satisfaction of the normal distribution assumptions, and a correlation analysis between variables and to analyze the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between social support and psychological exhaustion. The results of the analysis are as follows: The analysis of the mediating effect of positive psychological capital in the relationship between social support perceived by preschool teachers and psychological exhaustion revealed that positive psychological capital had a partial mediating effect on the effect of social support on psychological exhaustion. In other words, social support perceived by preschool teachers directly affects psychological exhaustion as well as affects positive psychological capital, and through which it has an indirect effect on psychological exhaustion. The results of this study have significance in confirming that social support perceived by preschool teachers and positive psychological capital are variables that prevent psychological exhaustion and imply that it is necessary to provide preschool teachers, who experience psychological exhaustion for different reasons in kindergartens, with social support as well as support for positive psychological capital.
