역할놀이를 활용한 '유전과 유전자 발현' 학습 효과 분석

Abstract

과학 수업에 있어 학생들이 과학 개념에 대해 정확하게 알고 있는지 파악하는 것이 중요하다. 특히, 생물 영역 중 '유전' 단원에 대한 오개념이 가장 많으며, 이를 올바른 과학적 개념으로 바꾸기 위해 많은 노력을 기울여왔다. 또한 2015 개정 교육과정에서 역할놀이의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 목적 은 역할놀이를 활용하여 '유전과 유전자 발현'에 대한 효과성을 분석하는 것이 다. 제주시에 소재한 과학고등학교 2, 3학년 학생 55명을 단일 집단 사전-사후 설 계에 의해 유전과 유전자 발현에 대한 과정 및 개념에 대한 학습 효과를 분석한 결과 유의미한 것으로 파악되었다. 특히, 염색체에 대한 개념의 이해, 전사와 번 역 과정에서 작용하는 여러 물질들의 역할과 연관성을 학습하는데 더 효과적이 었다. 부모의 역할을 통해 염색체에 존재하는 유전자가 생식 세포로 어떻게 나누 어져 들어가고 자손에게 전달되는지 관찰할 수 있어 유전을 학습하기 적합하였 다. 또한 유전자가 형질로 발현되는 과정, 전사·번역에 작용하는 물질들이 역할과 어느 단계에서 서로 유기적으로 상호 작용하여 유전자를 발현시키는지에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있었다.

In science class, it is important to know if you know the students' science concepts correctly. In particular, among the biology education, there are the most misconceptions about the 'genetic', and efforts have been made to turn it into a correct scientific concept. And the importance of role play is emphasized in the 2015 revised curriculum. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of 'genetic and expression of gene' using role play. It was found that 55 students in the second and third grades of science high school located in Jeju City were composed by a One group pretest-posttest design and analyzed the effects of learning on the process and concept of genetic and expression of gene. The results were analyzed and judged to be meaningful. In particular, it was more effective in understanding the concept of chromosomes and learning the roles and associations of various substances acting in the transcription and translation process. Through the role of parents, it was possible to observe how genes present in chromosomes are divided into germ cells, and transmitted to offspring, making it suitable for learning genetics. In addition, it was possible to increase understanding of the process of gene expression, substances acting on transcription and translation, and at what stage interaction with each other to expression of gene.
