감정노동이 직무소진과 건강행태에 미치는 영향

Abstract

최근 산업기술의 고도화 및 전문화는 사업장 규모 축소와 서비스업의 비중을 증가시키고 있으며, 서비스 산업의 발달은 육체노동 또는 정신노동 이외의 제3의 노동유형인 감정노동을 발생시켰다. 특히 이러한 현실속에서 감정노동 종사자 수의 증가는 감정노동으로 인해 발생 되는 다양한 형태의 사회적 문제가 이슈화 되고 있으며 소규모 사업장의 경우 관리자 부재, 감정노동에 대한 인식부족으로 인해 감정노동자 보호조치가 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 감정노동이 직무소진과 건강행태에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 감정노동 근로자의 건강수준 향상 및 직무소진 예방을 위한 전략적 방안 모색을 하기 위한 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.

본 연구는 제주도내 소규모 감정노동 사업장(50인 미만)의 고위험 직업군인 서비스 종사자, 판매종사자에 해당되는 감정노동 종사자 336명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 통계처리는 IBM SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석, 편상관분석, 독립표본 t-검증, 다중회귀분석, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 통계적 유의수준을 ρ<0.05으로 하여 검증 하였다.

본 연구의 결과는 감정노동의 정도가 클수록 직무소진 점수 또한 높았다. 특히 직무소진의 하부요인 중 정서적 고갈의 상관관계가 가장 큰 것으로 나타나 감정노동이 직무소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 감정노동이 건강행태에 미치는 영향에서는 감정노동 정도가 심할수록 스트레스 인지율, 우울감 경험률이 높다고 나타나 고객응대시 소모되는 감정으로 인해 건강행태에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

이와 같은 결과를 통해 소규모 사업장 감정노동 종사자의 올바른 건강행태 및 직무소진 예방 활동이 필요할 것으로 사료되며, 향후 이에 대한 예방, 중재프로그램 개발의 기초자료로 유용하게 활용 될 것을 기대한다.

Objective : The recent upgrading and specialization of industrial technology has increased the proportion of the service industry and the scale of the workplace, and the development of the service industry has caused emotional labor, which is a third type of labor other than physical or mental labor. Especially in this reality, the increase in the number of emotional workers is becoming an issue in various forms of social problems caused by emotional labor, and in the case of small workplaces, emotional workers' protection measures are not taken due to the absence of managers and lack of awareness of emotional labor. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data to find strategic measures to improve the health level of emotional labor workers and prevent job Burnout by analyzing the impact of emotional labor on job Burnout and health behavior.

Mothods : This study surveyed 336 high-risk occupational soldiers and sales workers in small emotional labor sites (less than 50 employees) in Jeju Island. The statistical processing was performed using the IBM SPSS 25.0 program to analyze frequency, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, independent sample t-verification, multi-recovery analysis, and logistic analysis. The statistical significance level was verified with ρ<0.05.

Results : The results of this study show that the greater the degree of emotional labor, the higher the score of job Burnout. In particular, emotional labor was found to have the greatest correlation with emotional exhaustion among the sub-factors of job exhaustion.According to the impact of emotional labor on health behavior, the higher the level of emotional labor, the higher the rate of stress awareness and depression experience, indicating that the higher the level of emotional labor, the more likely it is to affect health behavior due to the emotions consumed when responding to customers.

Conclusion : These results suggest that emotional labor workers at small workplaces need proper health behaviors and prevention of Job Burnout, We hope that it will be usefully misused as basic data for the development of prevention and arbitration programs in the future.
