영화연구

Abstract

본 논문은 영화 을 원작 소설 『紅高粱』, 『高粱酒』와 비교한 논문이다. 이를 위하여 선행연구와 직접 감상을 바탕으로 분석하는 사례연구의 방법을 활용하였으며, 다음과 같은 방법으로 연구를 진행하였다. 첫째, 소설 『紅高粱』, 『高粱酒』와 영화 의 인물 비교를 통하여 원작에서의 캐릭터가 영화에서 어떻게 구현되었고, 이런 변화가 어떠한 차이를 가져왔는지 알아보았다. 둘째, 소설 『紅高粱』, 『高粱酒』와 영화 의 표현 비교를 통하여 반봉건 요소와 정치적 요소를 비교하였다. 이때, 원작 속의 요소가 영화에서 어떻게 표현되었는지에 집중하여 비교하였다. 이를 통해 원작의 주요 내용과 영화의 주요 내용이 어떻게 달라졌는지 연구하였다. 또한 매체 차이에 따른 표현 및 연출 비교를 통하여 영화에서 원작과 다르게 표현되었지만 영화적 표현으로 여길 수 있는 표현들을 알아보았다. 셋째, 莫言의 소설 『紅高粱』, 『高粱酒』와 張藝謀의 영화 의 성격을 고찰하였다. 莫言의 소설 『紅高粱』, 『高粱酒』은 신역사소설로 정치적 해석에서 벗어나 민간의 삶 그대로를 나타내었다. 이에 반해 張藝謀의 영화 은 원작과 비교해보면 정치성을 띠고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 張藝謀의 영화 이 원작 소설의 신역사소설적 성격과는 달리, 또 제 5세대 영화라고만 평가받아 온 것과는 반대로 정치적 선전이 강하게 담겨있는 주선율 영화에 근접해있음을 발견하였다.

This article is about the analysis of the film Red Sorghum() and the original novel of Red Sorghum and Sorghum Wine(『紅高粱』and 『高粱酒』). For this, the previous literature reviews and the case study of the analysis based on reading and watching the media were used, and then the study were made by the following methods. First, through the character comparison between the novel Red Sorghum and Sorghum Wine(『紅高粱』and 『高粱酒』) and the film Red Sorghum(), how the characters in the original novel were described in the film and the differences between them by these changes were figured out. Second, through the expressional comparison between the novel Red Sorghum and Sorghum Wine(『紅高粱』and 『高粱酒』) and the film Red Sorghum(), their anti-feudal and political elements were compared. Especially, the comparison was done by focusing on how the elements in the original novel were expressed in the film. Then, the changes of the main plot between the original novel and the film were studied. In addition, the expressions to be considered cinematic ones were reviewed by comparing expression and representation by differences of media. Third, the characteristics of the novel Red Sorghum and Sorghum Wine(『紅高粱』and 『高粱酒』) by Mo Yan and the film Red Sorghum() by Zhang YiMou were studied. Mo Yan’s novel Red Sorghum, as a new historical novel, beyond political interpretation, describes the actual lives of people while the film Red Sorghum() by Zhang YiMou has its political features compared to the original novel. Through them, it was revealed that the film Red Sorghum by Zhang YiMou has a characteristic of the Main Theme Movies contains political propaganda, unlike the review on the film as the 5th generation movies until now and the original novel as a new historical novel.
