Liouville type theorem for (F, F')p-harmonic maps on foliations

Abstract

In this thesis, we introduce the concept of (F , F ′)p-harmonic maps on foliated Riemannian manifolds. Furthermore, the first and second variational formulas for (F , F ′)p-harmonic map are investigated explicitly according to the transversal p-energy. Simultaneously, the generalized Weitzenb¨ock type formula is given and the Liouville type theorem for (F , F ′)p-harmonic map is illustrated precisely.
