세계사를 활용한 현대음악 통합교육 지도방안

Abstract

음악에는 음악 고유의 질뿐 아니라 음악과 관련된 다양한 시대의 정신이 담겨있다. 다양한 시대의 음악을 통해 음악의 사회적 의미를 파악하는 것은 음악 수업에서 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 오늘날 교실 수업에서의 획일화된 악곡 사용으로 인하여 현시대와 가장 가까운 20세기 현대음악은 그 이해와 인식이 저하되어 있다. 이에 본 연구는 통합교육의 결과로 나타나는 확산적 사고를 기반으로 사회적, 문화적, 역사적 등 다양한 시선으로 음악의 의미와 가치를 깊이 있게 탐구하며 미래 시대에 부합하는 창의적 인재가 되도록 하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 이러한 목적에 다가가기 위해 본 논문에서는 현대음악의 개념과 의미를 고찰해 그 당위성을 주장하며 20세기 현대음악인 쇤베르크 를 중심으로 세계사 교과의 과의 통합적 지도를 제안하고 있다. 고등학생을 대상으로 하는 총 2차시의 지도안을 구성하기 위하여 문헌과 선행연구 결과를 토대로 통합교육의 유형을 탐구하였다. 탐구를 통해 연구의 성격과 가장 적합하다고 판단된 포가티의 통합 유형을 선택하였고 그 안에 속한 `거미줄형 모형`으로 수업을 조직하였다. 1차시는 학생들의 현대음악에 대한 경계를 허물고 현대음악의 기법과 표현요소들을 자연스럽게 접하는 것을 우선에 두고 수업을 설계하였다. 이어 제2차 세계대전의 학습을 통해 작품의 개념적 배경을 제공해 표현요소들의 의미를 탐색하도록 하고 학생들의 이해 정도를 파악하기 위해 수업이 끝나고 난 후 형성평가를 진행한다. 2차시에는 1차시에서 학습한 내용을 토대로 작품에 사용된 현대음악의 기법 원리의 이해와 그 실습을 진행하였다. 제2차 세계대전으로 인한 사회적 변화를 이해하며 자기 평가지를 통해 스스로를 성찰하며 수업을 마무리 짓는다. 현대음악은 어딘가에서 저절로 탄생한 것이 아닌 과거의 음악과 유기적으로 맞물려오며 발전된 음악이다. 이러한 과정을 거치며 음악 문화와 역사는 구성되었다. 본 논문의 통합적 현대음악 경험을 통해 학생들의 현대음악에 대한 긍정적 인식의 전환이 이루어지기를 기대한다. 또한 이 낯선 경험이 현대음악을 비롯한 다양한 음악적 경험을 추구하는 방아쇠로 작용하기를 희망한다.|Music contains not only the inherent quality of music, but also the spirit of various times related to music. It is one of the important elements in music classes that the social meaning of music is understood through music of various times. However, due to the use of standardized music in today's classrooms, modern music in the 20th century, which is closest to the present era, has lost its understanding and perception. As a result, this study aims to allow the meaning and value of music to be explored in depth through various social, cultural and historical perspectives based on the widespread thoughts that emerge as a result of integrated education, and to become creative talent in line with the times of the future. To approach this purpose, this paper examines the concept and meaning of modern music and insists on its justification, and proposes an integrated map of world history with World War II, focusing on Schoenberg's "A Survivor from Warshaw" which is a modern music in the 20th century. The type of integrated education was explored based on the results of research on literature and good deeds in order to form a total of secondary guidance plans for high school students. The integration type of Fogarty, which was considered to be the most suitable for the nature of the study through exploration, was selected and the class was organized in a spider-shaped model belonging there. In the first session, the boundaries of students'modern music were broken down, and the techniques and elements of expression of modern music were naturally introduced, and the class was designed. It is followed by the learning of World War II to provide the conceptual background of the work so that the meaning of the elements of expression can be explored, and formative evaluation is conducted after the class is over so that the degree of students' understanding can be understood. In the second session, the understanding and practice of the principles of modern music techniques used in the work was conducted based on what was learned in the first session. The social changes caused by World War II are understood, and the self-assessment paper is used to reflect on itself and the class is concluded. Modern music is not born anywhere on its own, but it is developed organically with the music of the past. Through this process, the culture and history of music were formed. Through the experience of integrated modern music in this paper, it is expected that students will change their positive perception of modern music. It is also hoped that this unfamiliar experience will serve as a trigger for the pursuit of various musical experiences, including modern music.
