이영조 Sori No.1 for Flute Solo 에 관한 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문의 목적은 플루트 독주를 위한 (1979) 에 나타나는 혼합적 음악 어법, 즉 전통 음악적 요소와 20세기 플루트의 현대 주법과 음향적 특징을 연주법을 중심으로 연구 하여 연주에 도움을 주는 데 있다. 논자는 효과적으로 곡을 분석하기 위하여 이영조의 생애와 음악적 특징, 작곡 기법 등을 알 아보고 플루트가 사용된 주요 작품을 정리하였다. 또한 에 나타난 전통 음악의 요소와 플루트의 20세기 현대 주법이 사용된 부분을 나누어 정리하였다. 이영조의 음악은 서 양 음악 사조 중 현대 음악의 틀을 기반으로 하여 한국 전통 음악의 선율, 시김새와 장단을 사용하여 자신만의 독자적 스타일을 창출하여 한국적 개성을 담은 작품들이 주를 이룬다. 그 의 초기 작품인 에서도 한국 전통 음악에서의 표현 기법인 시김새, 5음 음계, 전통 죽관 악기인 대금의 기법이 쓰였다. 그리고 20세기 플루트의 현대 주법인 플라터 텅잉, 멀티포닉스, 피치 밴딩, 윈드톤 등의 사용으로 독특한 음색을 만들어 낸다는 점이 본 논문의 중요한 연구 내용이다. 이영조의 곡은 합창부터 오페라와 실내악, 독주곡에 이르기까지 다양한 장르에 걸쳐 있으며 활발히 연주되고 있다. 제 3세대 작곡가로서, 이영조는 자신의 작품에서 전통적인 어법과 새 로운 작곡어법을 동시에 사용하여 그만의 혼합주의 경향의 작곡 세계를 구축하였다. 그의 작 품 중 은 무반주 플루트 솔로를 위해 작곡된 이영조의 유일한 곡이다. 이 곡은 현대 주법과 한국적 개성을 담아낸 작품으로 표현 기법과 주법에서 그 특성이 녹아 있어 연구 가치가 있으며 본 논문을 통해 악곡의 음악적 특성을 이해하며 작곡가의 의도에 부합하는 연 주를 하는 데 보탬이 되었으면 한다.|This study focuses on the musical traits and characteristics of (1979) by providing in-depth stylistic analysis of Syncretistic musical languages between the Korean Traditional elements and the twentieth century modern flute techniques. The study begins with the composer’s biography, followed by a categorization of his flute works in its entity and representative compositions respectively, before the detailed analysis. And the study analyzes in two parts, its traditional musical elements and its modern way of composition as well. Lee’s music is based on contemporary music, but it also uses Korean traditional melodies, ornaments, and beats. As a result, his music has unique characteristic in the way of expression. also has Korean traditional characteristics such as ornaments, pentatonic scales, the technigues of Korean woodwind instrument Dae-geum. It includes twentieth century modern flute techniques as well as flutter-tounging, multiphonics, pitch bending and wind tone, which make this music unique and valuable. Lee has composed various music such as chorus, opera, chamber music, and solo instrumental music. And these are being performed consistently. As a third-generation Korean composer, He created his own style and harmonyin his music by combining traditional Korean and Western Musical together. is Lee’s only musical piece for flute solo, and this is a contemporary flute piece with Korean sentiment. This study tries to provide in-depth understanding to its musical characteristics and the composer’s intention as well for a better performance.
