어머니의 양육스트레스가 유아의 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 출산연령 조절효과

Abstract

현재 한국은 여성의 사회진출 확대, 개인주의, 결혼 연령이 점차 늦어지면서 저출산으로 인구감소 현상이 계속 이어지고 있다. 이에 고령출산이 점차 증가하고 있는 현 시대를 반영하여 어머니가 인식하는 양육 스트레스가 유아의 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향과 어머니의 첫 출산 연령에 따른 조절효과를 검증함에 목적이 있다. 본 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.

연구문제 1. 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 유아의 사회적 유능성에 영향을 미칠 것인가? 연구문제 2. 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 유아의 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향에서 어머니의 첫 출산 연령에 따른 조절효과가 있는가?

본 연구의 모집단은 제주도 소재 자녀를 양육한 경험이 있는 어머니의 첫 출산 연령을 기준으로 35세 이상을 고령출산, 35세 미만을 일반출산으로 연구대상자를 분류하여 300명을 임의 표집하였다. 자료수집은 온라인 설문업체를 통해 2023. 03. 22-04. 05(15일)까지 300부의 자료를 수집하였다. 그리고 수집된 자료는 통계분석 프로그램인 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 인구통계학적분석, 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 단순회귀분석, 어머니의 첫 출산 연령에 따른 조절효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 양육 스트레스, 유아의 사회적 유능성, 첫 출산 연령의 상관분석을 실시한 결과, 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 사회적 유능성에 유의한 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육 스트레스가 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향에서 첫 출산 연령의 조절효과를 확인하였다. 이에 유아의 사회적 유능성을 향상하기 위해서는 어머니가 과도한 스트레스를 경험하지 않도록 가족의 도움과 함께 상담프로그램의 개발이 필요하다. 그리고 고령출산 어머니를 대상으로 스트레스 감소와 유아의 사회적 유능성을 증진할 수 있는 다양한 교육과 상담을 통한 지원정책이 필요성을 시사한다.| Currently, in Korea, the population decline continues due to low birth rates as women expand their social advancement, individualism, and marriage age are gradually delayed. The purpose of this is to verify the effect of parenting stress perceived by mothers on infants' social competence and the moderating effect according to the mother's first birth age, reflecting the current era in which elderly births are gradually increasing. Research problems to achieve this research purpose are as follows.

Research Question 1. Mother's parenting stress will affect infants' social competence Is it? Research Question 2. Is there a moderating effect according to the mother's first birth age in the effect of the mother's parenting stress on the social competence of infants?

The population of this study randomly sampled 300 people by classifying the study subjects as aged 35 or older and general childbirth under 35 based on the first childbirth age of mothers who have raised children in Jeju Island. For data collection, 300 copies of data were collected from March 22, 2023 to April 5, 2023 (15th) through an online survey company. In addition, the collected data were analyzed using the statistical analysis program SPSS 18.0 to analyze demographic analysis, reliability analysis, technical statistics, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, and the moderating effect according to the mother's first birth age. The results of this study are as follows. First, a correlation analysis of the mother's parenting stress, the infant's social competence, and the first childbirth age showed that the mother's parenting stress had a significant negative (-) effect on social competence. Second, the moderating effect of the first birth age was confirmed in the effect of the mother's parenting stress on social competence.

Therefore, in order to improve the social competence of infants, it is necessary to develop a counseling program with the help of the family so that the mother does not experience excessive stress. In addition, it suggests the need for support policies through various education and counseling to reduce stress and improve the social competence of infants for mothers of elderly births.
