A Study on Contents-Development based on Seolmundae Story
Abstract
Up to now, there are great deal of text studies on Myth and Story in JEJU. And much research and many creations are showed in forms of research paper, books, periodical publication and reports, but students' awareness level come to a standstill as well as common people do the same. Especially Placeness at the site of Sulmundae Story was not almost discussed totally up to now, So this thesis, by analyzing on the present condition, is shown how to make a space into the placeness. The placeness includes specification and special characteristic from the space
In the process of discussing, firstly activities attempt to make a meaningful place in a simple spaces of the site of Sulmundae Story. To concrete that the Power endowed by place-asset make turn the place-marketing, three steps, named story-find, story-experience and story-sharing as frame of analysis will be used to make a common story. This frame of analysis will be applied together to story-statement collection told by people in JeJu. This Story-statement collection and tables of the place-marketing join together to make a common story. This effort above eventually will be planed to rise up highly the recognition degree of the site of Sulmundae Story of students and common people by endowment attractives to the place and visualization to the site. How to overcome the tiredness degree to the place of the site of Sulmundae Story will be ready to cope with the unexpected, as a Destination Branding-Curve table shown by Mogan and Prichard.
Works of place-endowment will be possibly enlarged to the Myth as well as Bonhwangdang, Illedang, Yeodraedang and Haesindaing applied together in JeJu as meaningful activities. Enlargement capacities developing to the historical sites(Jejuseongji, Daejeongseongji, Samsungheol, Hwanhaejangseong, Bangsa tower, Bongsudae, Dondae, memorial Stone, Inlet, Grotto Position made by Japan etc.), Relics(Dolharbang, living instruments, Shamanism, Ancient Folk Song, Folk Tales and Asset and Resource) and Area of culture originalities are very easy to understand. It is a very specific to rise up suddenly the popularities through the unusual momentum, but it is possible through the pictures, games, opera, songs, identified natural landscape by international organization(UNESCO). Hobbiton in New zealand taken pictures Lord of the Rings, Christ Church College in Oxford in England as main stage Harry Potter and Gukjesijang in Busan thanks to Picture named of "Gukjesijang", especially shop "Ggokbunine" as place of the real world is very attractive placeness to many people. Here are possibilities of confirmation to the place-marketing in Jeju. If the place-marketing becomes established soundly, it is unnecessary to make advertizement under the subway in Seoul City.
Next, I'll show the app(application, Mythoro) which was developed, which is very specific by comparing to Ole App, Durunubi in Kyungggi province, Do Walk, Do walk and Sunchunman Eosinggil. The Mythoro app. by helping Character development, applied to the 5 sites of Sulmundae Story and used by Sulmundae Character to reinforce Sulmundae Image.
In spite of my study, it should continue to set a right the inappropriate viewpoint and it is the more the better. It comes from limitation of the enlargement in area on 「Studies about contents development based on the Sulmundae story」. Thus it is necessary to further studies after all as belows.
Firstly, the Storytelling should be enlarged to the subjects of the myths, stories, falk songs and work songs as an intangible properties in Jeju.
Secondly, the Storytelling Writers should be approved widely to the creative, imaginative and willings of writers in expression.
Thirdly, the Collections of the myths, stories as an intangible properties in Jeju should be managed systematically and highly organized as the name of the bibliography.
Fourthly, the Storytelling of the placeness and place-marketing at the site of Sulmundae Story should be enlarged to the sites Bonhwangdang, Illedang, Yeodraedang and Haesindaing as well as the Myths where applied together in JeJu as meaningful activities. When trying to enlargement of storytelling for place-marketing, it is necessary for us to study how to make a storytelling to the original culture in Jeju, including both historical sites and relics. Enlargement capacities of an intangible properties in Jeju will be related to the historical sites (Jejuseongji, Daejeongseongji, Jeongoiseongji, Samsungheol, Hwanhaejangseong, Bangsa tower, Bongsudae, Dondae, memorial Stone, Inlet, Grotto Position made by Japan etc.) and Relics (Dolharbang, living instruments, Shamanism, Ancient Folk Song, Folk Tales and Asset and Resource) as the estate.
The human and nature properties should be respected all the times and all of the people in Korea. The answers to why-not will show directly and immediately to the people in Jeju.
