초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기주도학습능력이 원격수업 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 학습환경인식의 조절효과

Abstract

2020년 호흡기 감염질환(코로나바이러스감염증-19, 이하 코로나19)이 전세계적으로 확산되면서 교육부는 코로나19 확산을 선제적으로 예방하고 학생의 안전을 최우선으로 보호하기 위해 온라인 개학을 결정하였다. 전국의 모든 학생들이 원격수업을 경험하게 되었고 이에 따라 원격수업의 질을 제고하고자 하는 노력의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기주도학습능력이 원격수업 만족도에 미치는 영향에서 학습환경인식의 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구문제는 다음과 같다.

연구문제 1. 초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기주도학습능력이 원격수업 만족도에 영향을 미칠 것인가? 연구문제 2. 초등학교 고학년 학생의 학습환경 인식은 자기주도학습능력과 원격수업 만족도의 관계를 조절할 것인가?

본 연구는 제주도내 초등학교 4곳에 재학하고 있는 4~6학생 322명을 대상으로 자기주도학습능력, 원격수업 만족도, 학습환경인식 척도의 설문지를 배부하고 회수하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 이 중 312부를 분석하였으며 SPSS.18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 각 변인 간의 상관분석, 단순회귀분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기주도학습능력은 원격수업 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년 학생의 자기주도학습능력과 원격수업 만족도의 관계에서 학습환경인식은 조절효과를 지니는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 학생들의 원격수업 만족도를 높이기 위해서 학생들이 자신의 학습환경을 학습자 중심의 긍정적인 학습환경으로 인식할 수 있도록 원격수업을 설계해야 하고 이와 같은 관점에서의 교육적 지원이 필요함을 시사한다.

As COVID-19 break out worldwide in 2020, the Ministry of Education determined to implement 'Distance Learning' to reserve students' safety and to protect public health from COVID-19. All studnets in Korea experienced distance learning. Therefore, enhancing quality of distance learning is emphasized. Purpose of this study is verifying moderating effect on the effect of self directed learning capability on satisfaction of distance learning. Research problem to accomplish purpose of this study is as in the following.

Research problem 1: Does self directed learning capability have a effect on satisfaction of distance learning in upper elementary school students? Research problem 2: Does preceptions of learning environment have a moderating effect on the effect of self directed learning capability on satisfaction of distance learning in upper elementary school students?

To carry out the study, upper grade students in elementary school were conducted survey located in Jeju-do to measure their self directed learning, satisfaction of distance learning and preceptions of learning environment. 312 answer sheets were finally analyzed. The collected data was analyzed by the SPSS 18.0 program to perform correlation analysis, simple regression between variables. And performed hierarchical analysis to analyze the moderating effect of preceptions of learning environment in the relationship between self directed learning capability and satisfaction of distance learning. As a results, first, there is positively significant correlation between the self directed learning capability and satisfaction of distance learning. Second, preceptions of learning environment had full moderating effects between the self directed learning capability and satisfaction of distance learning. The results of this study have significance in confirming that there is positively significant correlation between the self directed learning capability and satisfaction of distance learning. These results imply that it is necessary to provide teachers who carry out distance learning with educational support. And teachers should consider how to improve students' positive-preception of learning environment when making teaching plan.
